I have decided that for this month I will focus on Christian's quilt (#10) and Eureka (#9).  I have a bit over 15 blocks made (I think) for Christian's quilt, and all blocks are made for Eureka quilt.  I would love to have at least have these into two tops by Oct 1.

I will work on my #11 Batik Table Topper. I can quilt a table topper in a month - can’t I?

I will be working on quilting #4 Lion's Heart because of the lion in the center that kinda looks like a bear, but it was a lion pattern.   My #6 is complete.

I will be trying to make progress on my SewOregon2013 Shop Hop blocks  They are a bag of block patterns and fabric I collected with about 10% put together into 6.5 inch blocks.  I am taking them to retreat next week.  I will not get to the quilting this month.

I'll have to continue with my no. 11, wedding quilt. Had surgery and haven't been able to sew yet, so will continue soon.

I did do the first row and have my strips cut.

I took some time to get a few more blocks put together... and now have a few rows (or is it columns) together.  Its a video game character quilt so I know it doesnt make sense in this picture lol.

I'm still working on Aqua Chevrons, but I DON'T want it to take me the whole month to finish!

Planning for some sewing time later today! dance

My #6 is my scrappy strings - I think I will get them out and work in between everything!!

I work on my #1, On Ringo Lake all the time.  it is my leader ender project.  I finshed 100 rectangles and am starting on the second set of rectangles for the sashing pieces.

I didnt get a picture before I started putting blocks together, but Eureka was all blocks. I started putting it together last night after I got the section of Christians quilt pictures above done. I was up until Midnight and got the center section done.  This morning and afternoon I got the rest done.  I need to figure out if I want to add borders and use it on my bed or not.    Like would solid basic solid borders be ok with this?

That is spectacular Chelle! I'm sure it will look great with or without borders. And is that a little Singer sewing machine bookend?

thank you ... and yes it is a singer bookend.. the other side of it is along my windowpane in front of my sewing area so I can look at it.  A friend gave it to me at my surprise birthday party in May.

I am open to suggestions for bordering Eureka.  For now I will turn to Christians quilt, not as much sewing time as I had hoped today but I did get one block done so far... back to it.

Chelle, you are making me want to pull out my Eureka pattern and start pulling fabric (buying) for it.  I have had the pattern almost since it came out!  Yours is a beauty.  Part of me is thinking if you were to do a multi-colored, patterned fabric it might might take away from the top.  I would think about a blender fabric that closely matches one of the dark fabrics, with a lighter colored blender fabric for a small inner border to seperate the two.  But of course that is just my opinion.

What ever you decide to try, audition the fabrics and go with what your heart says.  It is going to be a stunner, whether you border or not!!!  Of course, if you cannot decide, you can just send it to me and I will keep it.  LOL

My sewing machine is calling me and today I hope to listen! Sally

complete one of my other list UFO's today

https://quiltingaroundtheworld.com/gallery/fullsize.aspx?aid=131&pid=89331

Chars'Mom's Quilt.  A 72x76.  Chars Mom did the patchwork.  Old (learning experience for straight sewing and matching and definitely not 1/4 inch seams.  But She started and did not finish.  I added a border and quilted it like I agreed last year so Char can give away or donate for a family member.  We donated to PILOTS for PATIENTS.
