It has come to my attention that this Saturday, March 16th, is National Quilting Day.

How will you celebrate?  Share your plans with us here, and we can present a united front!

That sounds so nice Donna.

I am going to be sewing at home by myself.  Husband wants me to go camping but I am staying at home to enjoy my time.

I'm quilting my MQ today, so hopefully this weekend it will get the binding put on.  If I get that done before the weekend, I start on one of my BOM's.

I will likely be cleaning and organizing my She Cave.  Also would like to get a couple of self binding receiving blankets done with the extra flannel I have.  Also need to get the spare bedroom cleaned up and ready for company.  We have a niece and her DH who will be coming to stay here with Fred for a few days while I am at Retreat.  Also HAVE got to plan my packing.  Won't get that all done on Saturday, but will get a start on it.

I've been wanting to start another scrappy quilt so I think this would be the perfect time to get it started.   I know I shouldn't but I'm using the excuse that it will use alot of small scraps.

My dh will be recovering from hernia surgery (he has it done tomorrow morning), so I will be tending him and getting some sewing in as well. How much,I don't know, but some at least.

Keep a smile in your heart :) Dorian

Dorian,  hope DH's surgery goes well.  Hope you are able to find some time for sewing, but know DH may need some attention.

Tess, will you be dying regular cotton fabric or wool?

I will be stitching on my spring bench pillow as well as my One 'n Done project. I caught a cold at retreat (I always do), so I'll be trying to stay away from everyone which makes quilting the perfect activity!
