Select ONE project you want to work on each day in March. The idea is to try to finish it or at least get it  much closer to finished.

During the month you will have three Shamrocks that you can use on the 3 days you didn't have time to sew.

Post each day you put in your 20 or more minutes to earn credit. Must post on the day the work is done.

Project selected must need at least 8 hours to FINISH.

FINISH means binding. - No project changing... just ONE & Done

This contest will have weekly drawings.

At the end of the month, there will be a drawing from those that sewed the most days.

YOU know you need to get that UFO finished!!  You know you like finding squishies in your mailbox.   You know we're pulling for ya to join in the fun!

To sign-up, post below and tell us about your project, pictures would be nice too of your progress.  Send a QATW Personal Message (PM) to me (carolracicot).  PM must include your given name, your QATW nickname, both email and mailing address and telephone number.  Be sure to include all infomation requested.

**PLUS, please let me know in the PM if you are able to send a F4 or other quilty goody to winners of the contests.

Spring is coming soon and we will be starting outdoor projects so lets get one more big one done inside first.  Ready?  Lets go!!

My project to finish will be this deer quilt.  It needs to be queen size and finished, it is about 60" now.  I had a top and bottom row made but they don't flow well and add too many deer so re-inventing them (after I  get a brainstorm).

No photo description available.

My one and done project for March is Kate & Chris's wedding quilt.  It is not going to be done in March, but progress is progress....

I have a couple of pictures in my gallery, but this is the latest.  The center part of the quilt is finished and I am working on the first border.  I have 2 sides finished so far.

The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing.

I'd like to work on Brenna's Modern Quilt, queen size, during the month of March.

Here's what I'm trying to make...no pattern but with the help of some QATW quilting angels, I was able to come up with a workable pattern.

Here's what I've got going so far.

I would like to get a wall hanging finished. So far, I've made these blocks:

I have an embroidery piece that will be the center, then a curly ribbon border, then these blocks and maybe one more round, I am not sure yet.

Tess, can't wait to see that finished quilt, it looks like it's going to be gorgeous!

Glo, thats  neat pattern, LOTS of HSTs though . Have fun.

Keep a smile in your heart :) Dorian

Wow, we have some beautiful quilts happening in March.  The HST's are not too bad when you do them 8 at a time.

Don't forget to send your PM's with your personal info, only have 1 so far.  Have to know where to send prizes.

I'm going to pick the Irish Chain quilt for March. DD has been waiting a long time for it. This is just a small piece done. I have 15 blocks so far. Hopefully only need one more.

Wow Bonita, that is huge and beautiful.  What size will it be finished?  How long have you been working on it?

Thanks, Carol. This was started way back in 2014 as a quilt-along as the 2-3 color quilts thread. Not sure of the size yet, but will be a large one.

Come on ladies, there are only a few days left in Febuary.  You KNOW you have a project you want to get finished.  Lots of encouragement, fun, friends and contests for the month of March.  Only 20 minutes a day will make a huge difference.  Ready?

Oh, I'm in, Carol. My project is "On the Bright Side" king-sized quilt that I've been slowly making progress on during This/That in February. I won't post a pic until I see how far I get by Feb 28. I know it will be many, many more hours left than the minimum 8 required.

I’ll do my Freedom Bound. I need to finish quilting it—definitely more than eight hours.

Carol, I will work on my On Ringo Lake. I know I won't complete it, but this will encourage me to sew at least 20 minutes a day on it and make some progress. I will add a picture as soon as I take it.

"At the Cross".  I've been eyeballing this pattern on pinterest for a while.  Already picked out my fabrics to match my Church decor so I'm ready to go.

Carol, I'll be working on my Salute to Service QOV for my father-in-law.  I made some progress on it in February with the THIS or THAT challenge.  Will take photo on March 1st as I still may get more sewed on it.  Thanks for running another monthly contest.  It keeps me moving ahead on things I might otherwise just let gather dust.

My heart is fed with needle and thread.

Lorraine you are going to love it.  I made one last year and it is so beautiful.  It won first prize at the County Fair.

Still time to sign up, we start on Friday.
