I still have not made any purchases.  I have even gone shopping three times with my daughter and came home empty handed.

Karla...I will happily take some of those "ugly batiks" off your table! Just kidding, those are some beauties!!!

I was already out of this as I "purchased" in January...but I was a BIG WINNER last night, The Quilted Cow LIVE event, and I won Aurifil Thread!!!

Good friends make ya laugh; really good ones make ya snort!

Karla, I love those batiks!  Looks like a good deal for you!  and Donna too!

Been keeping the faith - looked at stencils, but then deleted the post.  Joann's keeps sending me sales notices too, but I'm ignoring them.

I think the rest of the month is going to be pretty easy.. I'm working on 3 projects and don't really want to look at starting another until one of these is off my plate.   no buy.. no buy.. no buy.

Well after The Quilted Cow PJ party last night, I am off the chart.  I bought some really cute wool kits, a 5yd lap quilt kit, and possibly some other stuff.  LOL

My sewing machine is calling me and today I hope to listen! Sally

I saw you guys buying on Quilted Cow last night, but didn't get in on any of the action.  I was pretty sure I had done enough damage at my LQS this past week, LOL.  I figured it all out last night and figured I had bought over 50 yards of fabric.  That should keep me busy for a little while, LOL.  But it was all for a good cause, because Sue (the LQS owner) needs to make enough extra this month to pay for last classes (with airfare and everything that is over $4,000) to become a certified instructor for Judy Niemeyer.  Her shop is already certified, but now she has to be certified.  My purchases paid for her airfare to Montana.

Bad timing all the way around LOL.    I signed up for this on Jan 2 and went over to the quilt shop during my lunch to officially sign up for the BOM on Jan 3.   Won't pick up this month's kit till this weekend, so its not quite 'in hand'.   Just didn't dawn on me about the fabric purchasing with it.   Maybe I can claim the title for 'weakest wallet grasp' or something this month.   There's always Feb......

That's okay Annette, I did the same thing last year.

I've got 4 going right now...a QOV ready for the frame if I move the fabric that is laying on it for the Mineral Matrix out of the way, the Mineral Matrix, a Judy Niemeyer that I'm cutting out, and the Mystery Quilt.  Tomorrow is Mystery Quilt Day, so I'll take a break from the others tomorrow, and then on Saturday I'll decide which one to work on again, LOL  Sure keeps the monotony away.

I'm out

Had to buy a yard of Kona yellow for my UFO. True to myself - that I would just buy what I need to finish - but flunked the January challenge. Good luck ladies!

So far, so good. Although I'm tearing my hair out trying to get enough matching scraps to finish the backing for a teen quilt I'm trying to finish. But I'm determined . . .

Marian, I think you're still okay. The rules state: "You can have ONE exception - for instance you need to buy batting to finish a quilt, thread, or maybe one fq of a specific color."

Your backing fabric can be your one exception!

Marigold, maybe that would help you out, too.

yes, you are allowed one exception, especially if you need it in order to finish a UFO!

GG I'm with you. I'm working on several projects (one sewing but not quilting) and that will keep me busy so I don't think of buying any more now.

I don't need a thing, however..........

Shabby Fabrics has an awesome snowman table runner in wool......

I'm drooling, but I'm hoping I can hold off until February 1 before I order it...

We are going for the whole month, so if you have a Undecided for one week, you can still keep going for the next 3 weeks.   You do not have to drop out after one mistake.  Also, don't forget that you can have one exception for the month.  Doesn't matter what it is.

Keep on keeping on.....

Confession time - I broke down and ordered the table runner from Shabby Fabrics.  Its on reserve, so technically I did not buy it yet, however,..... I did put a deposit down and bought the threads to go with it. Some one needs to lock me up....
