Here is Block #2 for Mineral Matrix.  I'm planning on doing a block a day until the next MQ Clue comes out on Friday.

Working my way through month five. I did the first PP and appliqué block. Now I’m working my way through seven Orange Peel blocks. I took one along to my mother’s dr appointment this morning, but we ended up chatting through the wait time. Ah well. It’ll get done. Month six is all appliqué blocks, so I’m not all that excited about those!

Block #4 completed, might even have time to get 2 blocks done today.  Tomorrow will be the MQ.

My number 9 is rainbow stripe blocks and quilting the 9 patch. I will dig in my boxes to find them to start on and grab a picture. 9 patch is in my gallery.

Those are beautiful blocks Karla. Did someone say we're swapping them?

Karla, I love the blocks you've completed so far and especially love the fabric colors you are using.  Very impressive!!  I look forward to all the future blocks to come.

Karla, I am loving your blocks.  Your mix of batiks is beautiful.  Wish I had a batik stash like yours or like Donna's.  I'll be in Lake Havasu while we're away and there are couple of quilt shops there.  Maybe I'll be able to pick some  up.  Or maybe someone will put some on the trading post

Someone on this thread asked if my LQS takes online orders.  Yes she does.  I don't think she has had time to load everything online yet as she usually is the only one in the shop, but she does have a couple friends who help her on a part time basis and one who comes in once a week to upload to the computer.  Here's a pic of their business card if anyone is interesed.  She has 40% off all fabric today and 25% off all books and patterns, including the Judy Niemeyer patterns/papers.

*ANY* progress is good, Marian!

Wow, you're working on a project like Karla's - oodles of pieces in each block. No wonder the intention is to get just one block done per month. Very pretty!

Nice Block Marian!  Even if we only get one block a month, that is more than when they were just sitting in the box!

Everyone is making great progress!

USPSLADY—I just noticed that you’re in Fernley! My daughter and her family live there and love it so much. I’ve been to your LQS when I’ve been out there visiting. Small world, isn’t it?

So, I’m working my way through month five of GB&ST very slowly. I have seven orange peel blocks to do. I finished the third one today. I also worked just a bit on my Kaffee Fassett mystery BOM.

I am determined to get caught up and then finish these things!

Of course, I also joined a new Murder Mystery that just started. I already did month one, so *so far* I’m up to date on that one!

I finished 2 of the additional 8 blocks I'm adding to my bom.  I hope to do more tomorrow - I have drs appt in the morning, but then plan to sew, sew, sew for the rest of the day.

The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing.
