Bonita, I know the feeling.  As a matter of fact, I have an eye appt in about 1 hour.  As you say, gotta do it.  Our eyes are so important.

Hey, hey, my July BOM is completed on Aug. 22.  Better late than never!

How are you doing with all those drops, Bonita?  Are you having each eye done 2 weeks apart?

Beautiful blocks, Marian.  I sure think those Be My Neighbor blocks are adorable.  Sew, girl, sew!

Marion completed 2 blocks in August, and Nancy completed one.  I drew Marion's name!

September is upon us!  The summer has been busy.  Let's all get to work on our BOM's!

Look what I got in the mail! Thank you so much Sheila. Hmmm - I'm going on an all-day bus trip to 3 quilt shops on Thursday. Might have to get some yardage to add to this super cute charm pack to make a super cute quilt....

Congratulations Marion!!  That's a pretty charm pack!!

So Sheila, I hope you haven't given up on me yet, lol!!  I did some fun traveling in June and July and then caught a nasty virus that had me sick for most of August.  I even experienced paramedics taking me to our local ER from my doctor's office because I kinda "crashed" with this awful virus.  But I'm doing so much better now!!

Bob and I are back to babysitting Calvin full time while his mommy teaches 4th grade.  I've returned to my sewing room and to my "Meet Me In The Meadow" BOM project.  I am working on the borders now and it's looking like I may get the top done this weekend.  After the top is made, I've decided that I'm going to have it professionallly long arm quilted because much to my surprise, the quilt top came out beautful and I love it!!  I'll post a picture of my completed quilt top soon.

Thanks Marian!!  Today I sewed on 3 of the 4 borders.  I'm hoping to get the last border sewn on tomorrow and then I'll post a picture of the finished quilt top flimsy.

I completed my "Meet Me in The Meadow" BOM quilt top by adding on the 4 borders!!  I'll be sending it in to get long arm quilting services and then once it's returned, I'll add on the dark pink binding.  The quilt top finished at 82"x82".

Click onto picture to enlarge the view, thanks.
