Just sending a Happy Fall message to all of my quilty friends.  Cooler weather is coming along with great times for sewing.  Be happy!

I love Fall- today it is sunny and COOL. Took a trip about 1 hour north of Toronto to a quilt shop “Country Concessions”. They had XMas fabrics upstairs which my husband discovered. So I just had to investigate for myself. You guessed it - I bought a Winter themed quilt which I will work on in Iowa in 2 weeks. dance dance

Ooh, can't wait to see it, Deb! So looking forward to our Iowa retreat. Really close to my hometown, Sigourney, Iowa.

I love fall! My favorite season. I love jeans and sweatshirts. I love the leaf colors. Bonfires. Cozy quilts. Halloween and Thanksgiving. Wonderful time of the yearbigGrin

At least time of year, at the end of a hot summer... I, too, love Fall. The past 2 wks we've had gorgeous weather, in the 70s with a breeze... so nice! But, the temps are starting to go back up some. Into the 80s for a bit. The last hurray of Summer.

Happy Fall to you Sharon!

Keep a smile in your heart :) Dorian

Thanks, Dorian...Fred and I have realized that we are looking forward to being in our home through fall and winter and seeing what we can do with the time.  Today was hot here, too...high 80s, but I know the cooler temps are almost here.  I had to pull the sheet and blankets up over me last night, with the patio door in bedroom open....love the fresh air feel and smell, but I DO get cold. Smile  Think my metabolism is off!

Fall is my favorite time of year too.   I'll be especially happy to get rid of the mosquitoes, they've been really bad the last few weeks.

I like fall, but it makes me sad when I start seeing all the leaves fall from my trees. I'm a green girlbigGrin

Do we have a fall?  This week will be the same as last week. And haven't felt the mosquitoes but the knats are terrible. This month we have also had record breaking temps at 100 and rain, rain for months.

No fall down here either. Just waiting for Nov when the temps stay down in the 80's.

I am hoping for a nice, cool fall.  It has not been bad this week so far.  Last week we had about 3 days of 90's that just wore on everyone.   Happy Fall!
