Since I am at the retreat in Iowa I am going to post 2 truths and 1 lie about this group.
1. Tonight’s Cooks tried to warm us up by serving us a fermented dessert.
2. We are under a flood watch and one husband called to see if the car was safe.
3. It is freezing here and the heater is out. All retreaters are being troopers and wrapped up in quilts and just stitching away.

Ok ladies;
#1 is true. We made chocolate pudding using vodka and Baileys instead of all milk then folded in cool whip. Rather tasty if I do say so myself.
#2 is also true. A husband (who shall remain nameless) got a weather alert on his phone. Called his wife to make sure she parked the car on higher ground. Forgetting to ask if she is safe. 😂
That leaves #3 as the lie. First 3 days here have been hot and humid. It’s the A/C that is out so we’ve had a couple very warm nights. Temp dropped late this afternoon so the heater is now on.
Leslie your back up.

1. 4 ladies are leaving on Friday morning, a whole day early.

2. So far today we have had freshly prepared Belgian waffles, applesauce and ginger snaps.

3. We woke up to our trash strewn across the yard with an unknown bandit on the loose.

I guess number 3 is the lie. There was no trash bandit.

1. Is true, Nancy, Deb, GG and Chelle are all leaving in the morning.

2. Is true, Annette made waffles to order this morning and Kelly made fresh applesauce and ginger snaps this afternoon.

3. Is the lie. We have seen many critters but none have made a mess with our trash.

Tracey you are up. Let's hear it!

I will admit that I did have this mental image of a cute racoon making off with the vege scraps.  LOL, I have never seen one - are racoons cute?

OK, so now for some lies. Or - time for some "Porky Pies" This is Australian rhyming slang. Porky Pies means lies. And, in typical Aussie fashion it is shortened to 'Porkies". We might say to our kids "Don't tell porkies" It's a bit of a softer way to say lie. So now for my 2 truths and one porky

1 - I once was headbanging in the front row of an Ozzie Ozborne concert, but then had mild hearing loss and ringing in my ears for three days after.

2 - I once was sightseeing in a cemetery in Rio de Janiero and came upon some people putting a deceased person in a coffin and packing around the body with greenery and vegetation.

3 - I once went snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef and came way too close to a moray eel hiding in the coral.

I'll guess #1 is your porky, however, I can see you doing this...

Thanks Candice, I had fun remembering these ones and making one totally up. My made up porky i #3, I have never been snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, or been up close with a moray eel. Those things are scary, but I have just seen them on TV.

Over to you Leah.
