Several years ago I participated in The Year Of Schnibbles. This is the larger size Plan C that was in August I believe. Maybe lol. It's a finished top and I already had the backing set aside so it's ready for quilting.

My #3 is done and presented to the recipient.  It also won a blue ribbon at our local quilt show in April

So I am currently working on #6 Storm at Sea in oranges for my daughter.  The top is finished.  This week I will piece the back and hopefully sandwich and baste next weekend when I am home.

I am also working on #29 Urbanologie which is great fun!  Plus I am using all Grunge fabrics.

This summer I am again working out of town but I took my Bernina with me to piece and left the Janome at home so I can quilt on the weekends.  So far this method is working pretty good.

BUT------this week I unexpectedly got 2 days off so I went RIDING!!!!!! in the mountains on my horse with a friend and my husband.  It was fabulous.  The weather was great; the trails were clear; and the horses did fantastic.  Better than quilting!

The trail is the thing....Louis L'Amour

Miss Eweniece August  block almost done. Just need to give the bees some wings and add the flower. I'm trying to work on these every night while watching TV. Maybe a chance to get this thing done.

Bonita, I loved these patterns at the onset.  I saved and printed each one, always with the best intentions.  I think these are so dang cute and I will do them.  I have several wool projects I want to make...just have to take myself out of the swaps and finish some of these other things HANGIN' in my sewing room I'll be watching for your future posts with finishes.

Well, it's not quite quilting, but it -is- for one of my quilt guild's charity things.  I made half a dozen pillowcases this morning and they're in the wash. (Have to press and bag before I go to the meeting tonight.)

6 pillowcases pressed, folded, and bagged. And one begged for by a certain small boy. I let him keep it. He's snuggling with it watching Thomas and Friends right now.

Love Miss Eweness and her bees, Bonita! What is the backing of that block? Flannel? I've never seen polka-dotted wool before, so guessing not that. It has s beautiful rich color.

Thanks, Nancy. It's called wooly flannel. Came in a 10 inch layer cake from MSQC. Several different colors with each block a different color.

I have been in Utah all month, but tomorrow I head back to real life and responsibilities.

My number 3 is my postage stamp quilt which is already basted and just waiting for me to quilt it.

I hope I can get it done and off my UFO pile!

Well I am either going to have to change what my #3 project is or just work on a different project.  I pulled the Color theory swap blocks out of the big ziplock, and unless two sets of blocks are in one little baggie I am missing a set of blocks.  I think I will take a nap and then check the baggies.

Daisies is #8. I did some sewing on them last night. I also worked on the small star quilt.

Today, though, I finished #6, the mini bookcase!

Donna gave me a way to use what I have with the Color Theory blocks, so I made two to finish a row and hope to make this a top today. :D
