Are you ready to work on the June UFO project?  I know its warmer out and we may be doing less sewing these days.

I think things may get crazy for me, so I have decided to focus on making progress rather than getting finishes right now.

The number Max drew is 12 .

The details:

Must have a list posted HERE . You can join in anytime after you have posted a list.

We would love to see your starting photo.

Also a photo of your Finish or progress by June 30.

I'll be working off someone else's UFOs this month. I had an old neighbor contact me and ask if I would finish 3 memory t-shirt quilts for her. Her adult son died of brain cancer close to 2 years ago after years of fighting. His nieces and nephew wanted to have memory quilts from their uncle's most favorite t-shirts. My neighbor stabilized and cut out the fronts of several t-shirts and then got stuck. She asked if I could finish them for her. I couldn't say no but I had a feeling it wasn't going to be easy and I was right. They chose some strange fabrics for the back. The easiest backing is polar fleece. One is almost like a shag carpert but much softer and the third one is very soft but maybe a minky or something similar. When I start on them I'll post pics.

Ok I had Max pick the number before he went upstairs for the night.  12

I think its funny because this morning I was talking about needing to make a barn block for my #12 which is my Farm quilt.  It is currently blocks.

I'm like a broken record. It's still #3 the Posy quilt. May finish photo is June's starting point. Out of this springs a lot more piecing as I like to use up all the leftover bits and pieces of fabrics rather than add them to a scrap pile. What comes out of that will decide how soon I start working on the backs. I'm getting the feeling this could be a project for the rest of the year rather than month by month.

My #12 is Tis The Season panel quilt.  I am going to be gone on a tripp for the second half of June, so don't know how much I'll get done.  But I will at least start it.  Will post a pic maybe later today.  Never got a thing done on my May UFO :(

My 12 is my blueberry runner; just not feeling like it right now, so I don't know what I'll be up to.  Number 6, the small bookcase certainly, since I only have to bind that one.

I'm not following the called numbers very well.   I'm going to continue with my #11 Turtle Quilts (yes, now two - not just one).   Tops are done.   Just need to sandwich, pin, quilt, and bind.    However, due to my youngest getting married next weekend, I probably won't be able to touch any sewing till later in the month.

Annette, what I love about this is we can choose to go with the picked number or the UFO calling to us :)

My number 12 is Downton Abby, but I have to finish the bargello (that has been hanging for months) in the next couple of weeks. After which I hope to go to the Storm at Sea I started a couple of years ago. My grandchildren are getting married faster than I can keep up.

Hmm. I am going to continue working on the t-shirt quilt. After I finish that, I will be working on a new project with a deadline (baby quilt for my first grandchild!), so, I don't think my number 12 will even get pulled out.

My 12 is Urban 9 Patch which I don't think I want to start just yet.

I am finishing up the binding on Wolf Abstractions by Violet Craft for my daughter's Master's graduation gift in a couple of weeks.  Also quilting another Quatrefoil for a friend's 60th birthday, also in a couple of weeks.

Last week I pulled my travel trailer up to work so now I have electricity and water!  I took my sewing machine and will be working on Storm at Sea and Fire Island Hosta--just piecing.

#12 for me is the elephant quilt, however I want to work on the bingo quilt #1 - its already a top but needs to be sandwiched and quilted.

The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing.
