I hope this question makes sense! I want to sew down letters on a wallhanging and I have not done this before. What stitch do you use? I don't think I want just a plain zig zag or satin stitch. I have a Bernina 430.

Thanks,

Tracy

I have a wavy stitch on my machine I like to use for binding and along seams. Maybe something like that?

I have picture of it in my gallery and it is currently on the home page - it is the Trick or Treat picture. Right now I can't remember how to get the picture from my gallery this post! I'm just happy I remembered how to get a picture to my gallery!

I tend to like a small zig zag or blanket stitch.  I looked at the stitch chart for your machine and think one of the herringbones would look good on the halloween project (no's 54 thru 58 in this link)  Have fun.

I used a blanket stitch on my Trick or Treat. that's the one I usually use.
