Looking forward to TN Retreat next week, as I am going to work on Fractured Quilt, less distractions at a retreat (hahahaha).  Well, atleast less little Oliver hands to mess up piles.

I may get binding hand sewn on Little Christmas trees on the drive to TN...

I have hit a "wall" of sorts...run out of MOJO.  The backing for this quilt has got me stymied and while I'd like to use the remainder of shirts left to help construct the backing, there won't be enough of them, and so many of them have to be stabelized.  Thinking of just putting together a few smaller blocks with pieces of shirts, then adding them to a larger backing.  Then I still have to quilt it!  I'm waiting on fusible batting to be mailed to me so I can sandwich the quilt.  I have no place large enough to spray baste in, and it's too large for me to pin baste. Will post a pic of my Top in a few minutes.

Sharon, that is really nice.  You used quite a few of those shirts.  If you have enough, maybe a strip 4 to 6 inches wide through the width of the fabric in the middle of the backing?  That way you get a few in there like you want, but don't have to worry about the thinner fabrics.

Those I-spy quilts turned out so awesome!  They are adorable!

Great finishes!

Sheila, thank you.  The strip in the middle of the back is a great idea!!  I still have shirts and I think I'll do that with them.  I don't think Johanna wants the shirts back.  I have a few blocks made from some of the extra fabrics and I'm going to incorporate them.  Those fabrics had already been stabelized so I used them for blocks.  Working on that today.

Here is number 7--Wildflower Bright.  This is for a friend who drove me up to Corvallis the night my horse had surgery and was not clotting.  He did finally clot and came home several days later, but had complications and I chose to put him down.

Before you get excited...  I ONLY did the four corners.

Project #4 - As explained earlier, this is my friend/neighbor's mother's Baltimore Album.  Mom developed Alzheimer's and this is the last quilt she was working on, and the corners were not completed.  Mom had traced the small bows on the only pieces of pink fabric remaining.  I needed to find backing fabric (had to bleach muslin to get it to the right shade) and needle-turn applique the bows, and then sew the corner blocks into the top.  Friend will now find someone to professionally quilt this. I am done with my part of the project.

On to my "Lace Cabins" project, finally.

Nancy, it's lovely.  I remember  you had that at the Fall TN retreat.  Wonderful job finishing it for your friend.

Finished my butterfly mats.  I actually made 6, but one already went to my daughter.  small project.  These were on my UFO list as well!  Edit - Going back and looking at my list, I don't remember if I put #1 finish on here, Kevin and Katie's quilt.  So, # 1 and #10 down, 10 more to go.  I better get busy.
