My Boo Crew top is still sitting and waiting

Today I have sort of a free day...the kids are home for Spring break so you never know what could come up.

So the question of the day

Taxes or quilting   I say quilting but hubby keeps asking if I got the taxes done yet.

Perhaps an hour of taxes, an hour of quilting, then repeat...that might work

I got my March UFO backing made/pieced and  sandwiched and my Beach Ball Quilt is ready to quilt.  I still have two days to quilt  it and bind and will have a finish.   I will get to it tomorrow.  Eyes gave out today.  I see a finish for March.

Nice job, guys!

I've been keen to work on #5, the large bookcase, the last couple days, so I have.

I also started a stole for my current pastor.  Sara's an earnest young woman and I think she's finding it challenging to fit in.  Like most churches, nearly everybody's older than her.  Heck, most of 'em are older than -me- and I'm 41.  I treat her like my younger sibs, which means I tease her a lot, but do listen to her in her area of specialty. Usually.

I went ahead and had Max pick April's number today because he says he will be at practice all day tomorrow and Rick and I have a bunch we hope to get done tomorrow as well.

I finally completed one of my UFO's that was on my January and/or February list.  It's the FLASH mystery...

You can't imagine...my MegaQuilter was not performing, finally took it into the shop and after ripping all of the quilting stitches, about 1/3 of the quilt, I requilted it.  It's still not perfect, but it's completed, and that's what matters afterall.

And as a test when I got my machine back from the shop, I quilted and bound a small table topper that's been in the stack (and not on any lists) for the past couple of years.

Karla, your MQ is fabulous!  Beautiful fabrics and colors.  I love that wide border!

Your table topper is adorable.  Looks like your machine did a fine job.

I have a confession; I have not set a single stitch into the tree'ish chain this month.  Well, still have 30 some-odd hours.

Great job on the Flash, Karla. Your topper is real nice too.

I just have to stitch down the binding and Winter Song will be DONE!!!

It's done. It's 48 x 48.

Bonita, Winter Song is lovely.  Congrats on a finish.

Leah, I agree with QB, that fabric is beautiful and the block is going to make a fabulous quilt.

Bonita, I love your quilt.  I'm going to have to try to find that pattern and add it to my list.
