I'll be sewing the binding on sometime today. Just under the wire as usual.

I have failed miserably at my #10 project!  I must say I started out strong, then realized how many of these ROWS require applique work and I kept putting off working on them.  I WILL, really I WILL, get back to them, but this month I kept finding other things to work on that I loved doing.  I am easily distracted, I guess.

To my credit, I did get one ROW totally made...a second one ALMOST.  Just have to finish the applique stitching around the pieces.

I reached the finish line just in time. This was from a swap awhile back. There was enough blocks to make two quilts. The first one made and given away. Glad to have this one done too.

Beautiful Bonita and Loraine

I have my rows sewn together. I switched my laundy loads and I'm headed back to my sewing room to trim the uneven edges and add a border. A rare day at home and I'm taking advantage. This UFO is going to be a quilt top TODAY.

Chelle, put me down for one row finished for Feb.  Not much, have another one almost done, but just got side tracked.  Hoping for a better finish rate for March.  Thanks for keeping track for us.  Lots of work.

Bonita and Lorraine, both of your quilt tops are wonderful.  Those are fantastic.

And it's a top

About twin sized, to get back far enough I had to take a photo from one side so impossible to take a straight photo

Now I won't feel bad setting it aside to switch to March's project.

Updated chart, may have confused myself LOL.

I am crossing my fingers and hoping to have this into a top by the time I go to bed.  I tend to go to bed early so... we will see.

# 10 never happened, but I have continued to work on last months Bonnie Hunter. It is 1/3 of the way free motion quilted. So does that count? please remember that I am a beginer free motion quilter when you look at theese close ups.

I did not finish a project this month, but I did finish the applique on all of my pirate blocks.  I need to work on the embroidery next month.

The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing.

I actually started on Jaime's quilt a 2 days ago.  If I can work steadily, it might be done by Sunday! (Jaime's mom is my church's choir director; they let me sing)

No worries, Kathy, some days or months are like that.  I basically did no quilting at all in 2016.  Too depressed. *hugs*
