Chelle, your cows are adorable.

Eli, what  a cutie.  How in the world could someone with those beautiful eyes be "up to no good?"lol.  What I can see of your #10 looks really pretty. :)

This month went way too fast for me, maybe because I was sick for part of it.  At least the cow blocks are made.  Max picked our March number this morning.  I will get next months chart set up.  If you want me to update anything in this months chart please let me know, I've been a bit more scatterbrained than usual.

My mystery hst pieces are now a top. I think I'm going to be making most of my ufos into tops and then quilt them later. I need to purchase a good bit of batting so I need to match my finances with a sale first. They just never seem to line up lol.

My original plan was to line all the 16 patches up so all the diagonals were going in the same direction. Apparently I was too excited to get them sewn together in pairs that I forgot to pay attention to the direction of the blocks. After I realized that I just stitched the rest any ole way. I kinda like how it turned out. The upper left corner is my favorite section.

lol, I wasn't anticipating her being able to wear it before she turned 2.  Her brother was firmly in his terrible twos when I bought it for him.  That said, she is the one climbing up the wing chair's back to get what she wants from the top of the bookcase. Nothing is safe anymore. Especially not the big bag of chocolate.

I'll be sewing the binding on sometime today. Just under the wire as usual.

I have failed miserably at my #10 project!  I must say I started out strong, then realized how many of these ROWS require applique work and I kept putting off working on them.  I WILL, really I WILL, get back to them, but this month I kept finding other things to work on that I loved doing.  I am easily distracted, I guess.

To my credit, I did get one ROW totally made...a second one ALMOST.  Just have to finish the applique stitching around the pieces.

I reached the finish line just in time. This was from a swap awhile back. There was enough blocks to make two quilts. The first one made and given away. Glad to have this one done too.

Beautiful Bonita and Loraine

I have my rows sewn together. I switched my laundy loads and I'm headed back to my sewing room to trim the uneven edges and add a border. A rare day at home and I'm taking advantage. This UFO is going to be a quilt top TODAY.

Chelle, put me down for one row finished for Feb.  Not much, have another one almost done, but just got side tracked.  Hoping for a better finish rate for March.  Thanks for keeping track for us.  Lots of work.

And it's a top

About twin sized, to get back far enough I had to take a photo from one side so impossible to take a straight photo

Now I won't feel bad setting it aside to switch to March's project.

Updated chart, may have confused myself LOL.

I am crossing my fingers and hoping to have this into a top by the time I go to bed.  I tend to go to bed early so... we will see.
