Here is a picture of my remaining 4 blocks.  I made better progress on the mermaid than I thought, just have to finish the body and embroidery.

I will try to get a picture of my stash tomorrow. I had planned to clean that room this month, however, those plans were changed.  It really is a mess right now.

The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing.

Tess, love the mermaid.  Incredible that you are at it with one arm out of commission.  Determination and Grit are your "tags".  Are you hand embroidering?

Thanks Sharon, I actually can use my right hand somewhat, so I have been able to do some hand sewing. I haven't started on thr embroidery yet, however, I am leaning toward doing it by hand.

Since I am getting a late start at this, I am making #11 on my list the Charming Pachyderms Tumbler Quilt.  I had just begun to cut out the tumblers, so hope to finish this as a donation quilt.

Oh Tess, I am so tempted to get that pattern and make it for DH. I'd replace the spiderweb with a rum bottle lol

OK, I make a list for this one, too.  Last year was a bust....  Thank you for continuing this thread.

Tess, your Mermaid is coming right along and looking good.

Sharon, your tumbler quilt will be so cute.

I've almost got a top, just a couple of borders left to do.

Hmmm.... that Pirate applique looks familiar. I have that pattern. Maybe I should try that one, too.

Love the elephant pattern.

Still pondering more projects....

I did manage to squeeze in a little quilty time and I made 6 more string blocks. I have a good sized pile of 30's strings and strips so I'm going to keep making blocks.

I got the quilt top done! Now to get the back done. I'll try to get a photo up soon. I've enjoyed this easy project, but I really need to get back to wedding quilts.

I've assembled all the string blocks for my #11 and have the rows sewn together.  I hope to have the top done tomorrow, then quilt and bind it later this week.

My #11 is a QATW swap, Crayon Blocks.  I am excited to be working on this one.  As you can see I haven't taken them out of their bags yet.

I just finished Mr. Malz quilt (Max's teacher).  It measures 41x57 No one was available to hold it for me.

I loaded the FLASH Mystery on the frame, and lo and behold, the machine came unplugged from the back.  There is no way I can get to the back of the machine to plug it back in without disassembling it again.  So off the frame came the quilt, removed top roller so I could turn the machine around and plug it back in. got hubby to come in and help me put it back on the rails, reassembled everything and now the stitch regulator only works front to back and not left to right.  I'm about 2 minutes away from throwing the machine and frame right out of the back door.

I have fallen by the wayside already -- 10 lashes with a wet noodle for me!  DH and youngest son went on their annual 10 day fishing trip to Panama.  Normally I sew the entire week -- almost 24/7.  However, this time I cleaned house (yes - ugh) the entire time.  My house was so disorganized and dirty for having extra people in the house for 3 weeks instead of the normal week, I just HAD to do it.  I still have one extra but he leaves on Thursday, so hopefully I can get back on track.

I will stay with the same one until it is done. Glory allelujah to a finish in the future.

I may've just bought another quilt pattern.  Been drooling over it for months.

I did get 4 blocks of my feathered geese done so far (out of 36) plus a few units.

Sometimes I question my sanity. ....Occasionally it replies
