LOL

too funny!!

My plans are to go an entire year without spending a penny on fabric.     I want to reduce what I have so that it fits in my sewing room.   Lofty goal but I'm game.

I'm going head to head against Chelle for FINISHES in 2018 as well.

Jann, can you make it another 3 days ?

giggles, gg

I need to do the same. My sewing room is full, How long can I go buying nothing sewing related but batting?

I haven't bought anything this year, wow 2 whole days of restraint. But I did recieve a package yesterday that I bought online last week...neutral FQ bundle, you can always use those right? Especially if they are on Sale and free shipping

Want to see who can last out the longest without buying, it might help us stick to the plan

I've already lost.  I bought 2 half yard pieces and 3 fat quarters yesterday, plus 2 patterns.

OK, so I did resist buying more fabric today as I made the decision I probably won't make the BH MQ.  Will probably use those FQs I got for it for something else.  BUT, I did just (on Jan 2) buy 4 1/2 yards of Paisley fabric from Candis on the Trading Post....Since I didn't really go shopping for that fabric, does it count as a 2018 purchase? LOL Reading all of these posts, I am absolutely going to try to use  up what I have, too.  I had already made a semi resolve to use up my stash.  I probably don't have as much fabric as some of you, but I have A LOT!!!  I am working on an embroidery machine in the hoop wedding ring quilt that I may eventually have to purchase more white/off white/cream/beige fabric for,  but will try to make the blocks with what I have first.  And if I need more of those colors, I can try to trade with a friend of mine for something I have that she might want.  I will post if I back slide.

Come to think of it. I haven't bought fabric either. BUT I have been in JoAnns and Michaels and spent at least $300 on yarn. Great sales this month and I have a clean sewing room. I like to crochet while I sit in waiting rooms. Kind of like fidget spinners for senior citizens.
