I think you are right about her preference for near solid fabric Nancy. Funny - I picked up 2 solid FQs on my way home from work today. I must have been thinking the same thing. I'll start trying to put together my fabric choices this week-end. It's a cute block and I like the "on point” feature.

Update:

I like the blue and white squares below. But the grey and green are just not doing it for me. I may switch it up to a blue, white and yellow colorway. I just am not good at putting too many colors together.

Update:

I went with the blue, white and yellow. Box that up until February

I chose to "add my theme fabric" where Pat placed her camping fabric...

I like that we can see the finished block before we start cutting for the month!

I'm not making this one now, but collecting the instructions. All of the first blocks look great.

Chelle, I LOVE that block...the motorhome scene is awesome!  I am collecting the instructions and do have some Route 66 themed fabrics...I just might try it with them.  Some camping and outdoorsy fabrics, too.

Fun block, Chelle. Nice colors too. I went to all the trouble of digging out the fabrics for the first block and have'nt cut any thing yet.
