Have you heard about the Wooly Block Adventure? Like the Row by Row Adventure but the participating stores are giving out free patterns for 8" wool blocks.

They did this last year but there were no stores near me, but this year they are going to spotlight a store every couple of days on the Row by Row website, under the wooly adventure tab. The pattern for each shop will be free to download during the days that particular store is spotlighted. I think that means there will be a free new wooly pattern available every couple of days from Oct 16th to around Dec 15th.

Go to the website HERE and read all about it. It sounds like fun without all the driving.

And it starts tomorrow

Not sure why the Prarie Point Junction one doesn't have a link.  They posted the link in the Wool Applique group on Facebook some of us are on.  Hope it's ok to share since I know its set to only be free yesterday and today. http://prairiepointjunction.com/Row-by-Row-Experience/

It looks like there are 4 free blocks at a time. There are links to 2 and the other 2 it seems you have to click on the store name. Prarie Point Junction has a link on their website to download the pattern, Half Moon Handwerks website said to send an email and they sent me the pattern that way. I think they are working out the kinks since this is the first time they've done this.

So it looks like there may be 4 shops spotlighted each time. WAY more patterns than we could ever use , but a fun library of patterns to have for future ideas and projects.   I will check for patterns when I'm able and not worry about the ones I miss.

Mona, send an email to halfmoomhandwerks.com and in subject line type "Chimpy".  I'm waiting for her to send me my pattern.  It's REALLY cute.

Just went on the Wooly Block Adventure and there are four "Spotlight Shops" posted.  One of them "Red Pine Quilt Shop" says the pattern is only up Oct 24th and 25th.

I got started late but the last three shops were up for more than 2 days so guess we have to stay on it daily if possible.  Have checked a lot the shops and there are some really cute blocks - have only seen a couple that I didn't like.
