Oh Dear, I DON'T need another project either but I do like the look of this one.

If those are 12" blocks the centers would be 6".  I could use some already made 6" blocks as the centers. I'm pretty sure I have a couple of UFO sampler quilts that had 6" blocks

I am soooooooooo weak - signed up.  Figure if I don't get it done this year, it will be a good project for retreat next year.    That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

I envy you, Jackie and Barb!  I can't take on another commitment project...I get too stressed.  Hope I remember to check in and see the progress.

I signed up but not sure of my work time frame for it. I did a quilt with similar style blocks about 10 years ago where I got the designs every two weeks and have even toyed with the idea of doing it again. This gives me a new look. I am really drawn to the courthouse steps as alternate blocks. I will pick and choose which blocks I'll make.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Is anyone doing this one? I think this it's only the second BOW or month that I've actually stated! I'm on the second block; so only one behind! The only thing I'm not liking is the amount of trimming she has in her instructions. The second one, I used my own favorite methods. I'm also using starch for the first time.

I've started this. Finished 4 of the setting blocks and the first week's block. Too busy getting ready for retreat to do the other two. But I have the patterns printed up waiting for when I get home. like

I am making a slightly different version of this that the LQS is doing as BOM.  Last block is in November and I hope to be putting it together at Quilting in Smokies retreat.  I think this is a great pattern and very attractive.
