I like the looks of this one. I'm guessing the blocks will spell out "Let it Snow"

I bet we are going to spell let it snow.  Hopefully no old crows in the snow.  Going to be cute.  Wondering if I should do the colors she posts or another colorway.  I saw one of her word ones done with a dark rose letter and it sure was cute.

Edit.......oooooopppps just saw Jackie said the same thing

Candis, you'll like the woolie flannel. I bought a layer cake from MSQC and so many colors and so soft. I've got the pattern traced and ready to start cutting.

I love reading all of these posts.  I'm getting good information for my first woolie project.  Not starting my first with this snowman one (not yet) but think  I'm going to start with the Miss Ewenice Snowman one.  Taking it with me to Lake Havasu to work on while there for 9 days.  Wish me luck

Jash, Welcome!  I so agree with wool being addictive.  I can't believe the number of BOMs I am hoping to do this year

Welcome Jash

working with wool is very relaxing I think. I've been having withdrawls because I haven't had anything prepped ready to sew.

Well not anymore, I got this block cut and ready to sew. Now as soon as they turn that TV on this evening I'm ready to go sit and join them...with my wool of course.

question, is it a good idea to iron something to back of the backing to keep it stable??

I like to put a light stabilizer on the back of my flannel, keeps it from stretching out of shape. I start with a bigger square anyway about 9 by 9 or bigger, since these are 8 by 8. I like the dark burgandy wool, I think I will stick with it. Need to look for more.
