Sharon, I think you're right it sure looks like it. It's a very pretty stitch.

Thanks, Sue and Sharon.  I do think that's it.  Here's another link within that site that shows it along the edge of applique.

I'm bookmarking this site.  Very helpful.

Need wool?

I got an email about the Columbus day sale going on at dorrmillstore.com

Look under fabrics, also under wool applique. There are also some patterns and kits under specials.

My LQS is participating but there aren't enough other shops near me to make it worth while driving all over.

My heart is fed with needle and thread.

Same here. I would love to do it but there is just one store participating within decent driving distance. There seems to be more participation on the East coast I think.

I have seen some very cute blocks shown on facebook

Ditto here - only two in the state.  But I am getting some good ideas looking at all of the blocks.

Same here, only two shops within reasonable driving distance. I may get those two, Carriage Company and Gossipyim because they are cute.

I KNOW it isn't quilting, or even really applique, but it IS wooly so I just had to share. Check out this free tutorial for these gorgeous little wooly booger carolers.

Very cute, Amanda.  Those would make great pincushions, too.

Very cute carolers.  I'm trying to gather various pieces of wool to start "something". Don't know what yet, but at least it's a beginning....    Scraps are useful....  A pincushion maybe?  I even have dogs hairs which the carpet shampooer made into solid semi-flat discs.  Do they count as wool?

I wonder if that would be a problem for those who are allergic to pet hair/dander?

Oh, Amanda, I wish I had seen these a month ago.  I think they would sell well at Christmas bazaar.  Maybe next year...
