Please feel free to post requests here for prayers of Healing & Strength

Whatever you do, you need courage.

Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong.

There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right.

To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a  soldier needs.

Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

I need to ask for prayer requests for my Husband, Bob he passed out today and the doctors still do not know why.  When he fell he broke ribs and punchered a lung.  They are keeping him in the hospital with a heart monitor tonight and watched that lung carefully.

Thank you all so much

Brenda

Oh Brenda, I will pray.  I'm so sorry for your DH and I know this is very hard on you, too.  Prayers for both of you.

I spent all day at the hospital with my husband.  This is his 4th day there.  They had put in a tube to remove air and fluid, he has a collapsed lung that was caused from a fall when he passed out and he broke 4 ribs.  Today they removed the tube and will watch it and Xray again in the morning to make sure that there is no more air or fluid building up.  The doctor thinks he may get to go home Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning.  They still are not sure what caused his passing out they think it may be his blood pressure medication.  They took him off it and are monitoring his vitals.  So far all tests are coming out clear and that is great.

I am very tired and have not been sleeping much.  I have spent most of these days at the hospital with him.

I know we both are ready for him to come home.  It is over a hour drive each way and pretty heavy traffic.  I can not believe the hospital also charges $10.00 to park just to visit a loved one.

I am praying he get released tomorrow

Brenda, I was thinking about you last night.  I know how very tiring it is to have our loved one in the hospital.  Sounds like that fall after passing out caused a lot of damage for your hubby.  I'll send another prayer up that he will heal and be able to go home today.  It's a really hard thing: we want our loved one to come home NOW, but sometimes another day in the hospital can make a lot of difference in their healing.. Hang in there, Brenda, and try to take care of yourself, too.

Oh Annette, my heart aches for you!  My middle son is the same age as your son and I just cannot fathom the thought of what you must be experiencing in losing your son.  Just terrible, just so very, very terrible.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  Sending hugs.
