thequiltbear.com has their annual stuff my stocking.  This year all 12 days can be ordered at anytime.  Previously you ordered each day and then paid for them at the end.  She has great specials for young and old.

Thanks Glo ~ just like LauraB, I ordered the set.  I have two featherweights and a black short bed 301a.  I know DH will be able to fix them now.  You're a dream of a friend.

Karen, I watched the video and it looked like something I could use as sometimes I have some pain in my left wrist. I ordered one at that nice price and I will see if it helps. If not it can join the other stuff in the  oh well drawer.

Thanks T

I recently discovered a nice, new (to me) web site called 5bucksayard.com, if it's new to you, too, it's definitely worth checking out!

I've gotten stuff from them before and it's good quality stuff. If I'm remembering right quick shipping too.

Yes Glo - Thanks so much.  I am giving it to DH for Christmas.  He's already taken a peek in the book and is really impressed with it.  It was worth the investment especially if we can take care of maintenance ourselves.  Thanks again.

Ooops, forgot to tell you to put the word, "topper" in the comment box to get the 20% discount.  Sorry.

You bet! bigGrin

MSQC has their $50 gift cards on sale for $40 on New Years eve to end the year in style! If anyone would like to send me one or two, I would be happy to give you my info! Just kidding, but it's a great deal!

I bought three of those MSQS discount cards last year for a total savings of $30!   It's a good deal and easy to use at any later date.

Hi Chelle,  I belong to the group, sign up is free.  You will get a daily email from them listing what they have, new and old listings that are at discounted prices.  It is a group buy program.  So the thread that you found might not be shipped until February 1st.  When the buy closes, you are then billed the closing price.  The more people that sign up the cheaper the product until the product reaches its lowest price.  It is a very tempting group.  They will offer a wide range of products.

I ordered a couple of things from them too. The Schmetz microtex needles was one of the things I ordered, I think it was $30????  for 100 needles. I don't remember the exact price but seemed like a good deal and now I don't need to buy sewing machine needles for a LONG time.

You can also buy the needles in the 100 box for around the same price at JHittle.com and Allbrand.com

If any of you love Valdani thread for your wool hand sewing...I have found a good source that you can order just the colors you would like to get instead of getting a kit with repeat colors.  They are $4.50 per spool, which is less expensive than most sites and they have a first time order coupon code of "sm2010firstorder" which will take 20% off your first order with them.  There shipping is only $2.75 total per order too, which isn't bad at all.  They have almost every color and they have in size 12 and 8 as well as 3 strand for whichever is your preference.  So wanted to share this place with all of you!     http://snowflakememories.ecrater.com/index.php
