It was a most interesting day in my sewing room yesterday.. I spent almost all of my day there and yet I didn't finish ONE block.. and it was the only one I was working on.   I did sew a seam or two on a quilt that is on my design wall in hopes of getting that finished and off the wall...

but I either was Losing everything I needed ( and just had in my hand not 3 minutes before ) or I was sewing things WRONG.. like sewing the feet row where the knees should have been type thing.    I think I seam ripped about 5 times and one of those times I had to take out 6 seams to fix the problem.  LOL. BUT I stuck with it and sewed right up until the time hubby came home.

Today when I go in there, I fully expect to get that block finished and have a super day by making 2 more.   I just need to get things straightened up a tiny bit more so items can't walk off and sit under papers and fabric.   I should have a picture of some of my MUGS later.   Fingers crossed.

I have all of my 8 ice skates finished.  I am hoping to have the time to add laces to them if things at home cam down a bit.  I am really happy with the they turned out.  I will hold onto them for a while to see if I can hand stitch while babysitting.

yahooo Brenda!  You did it!

Today I made a pine tree in a tree stand....

I found out I can make 3 of those with 1 fat quarter ( the background ).  I have a bit leftover but not enough for a 4th block.

By best count, I only need onne more 6.5" tree and then I can start turning those into globes and then putting a mug around the globe.

Pictures tomorrow I think.   I posted one at fb because it was easy.

I am less stressed than I was today we removed everything from our house the entire thing.  Starting Monday we are getting Vinyl Planks throughout the entire house kitchen and bathrooms too.  It took so long to remove everything.  My husband is starting to feel much better Thank God.

I have all 8 blocks sewed and squared up I just need to add the show strings on to them.  Tomorrow I am going to attempt my first one.  Wish me luck.  I am starting on mine but I think they are going to go well.

I hope to be able to mail them Monday.

I hope everyone else is having a great time with these too.
