I've started a hexie quilt using the epp method. So far I'm loving it.  I have the go die that cuts the 1 inch papers and I;m using a jelly roll. Just cutting squares and glue basting.  I will post pics on the facebook page as I can never get them to upload here.

Looking forward to seeing the pics.  I have problems posting here are well because the file is too big, too many pixels.  I know there is a way to change that, but I have found it easier to take pics from a distance, and then crop.  Then I can post.

Well, another milestone.  And a marathon to go.  At this rate, maybe in 10 years.  But here she is.  I am so tired of that off white, and looking forward to a different background.  I read somewhere that when La Passion is finished, it's 17,000 hexagons.

Love that arrangement Patti.   How large are your hexes?

Patti, oooh oooh oooh...gorgeous.  I can't imagine tackling something so small and intricate.

Sorry Patti,

I missed it when you put up the photo, its looking great I think you are further ahead than me and I havent done mine in a while, ive been trying to get some other stuff finished. 17,000 hexies, I dont think i will think about that I work on the basis slow and steady wins the race :-)

Lots of love

Patti, that is truly amazing! You didn't say how far you are in that march to 17,000. What are the measurements of the final quilt? Can you work on something like this on your trans-Atlantic flights to see your daughter?

If I remember correctly the full quilt ends up being about 96"x96"
