Frances,  I like the log cabins.

Today I finished binding and labeling on one of my other ufo's list.  Patriotic Pinwheels.  This was a  red/white/blue blocks swap and then I made extra pinwheels.

Machine quilted.  70x70

I have 2 more ready to add the binding now and hope to finish in the next few days.

Yay, I have a finish for July (which was actually on my list for June and maybe even May).  It is my #14, Lakeshore Hosta.  It measures 75" X 75" and was made entirely from my stash and scraps (except for the backing).

Carla, Verla and Marion, what beautiful finishes!  I am happy to report that the top and back are done for one of the Christmas quilts on my list... I am also trying to wrap up the second.  These were Christmas Log Cabin blocks from a QATW swap!

While digging through my stack of UFO's, I found a scrap quilt started a few years ago.  It was partially quilted, but the last 3 rows of quilting were all loopy on the back.  This must have been from the time I was having severe problems with the quilt and frame.  It also had very wavy borders, so this morning I cut off the borders, frogged the last 3 rows of quilting and put it back on the machine.  This has become the dog's quilt as my rush job of binding left a lot to be desired, but it is a finish for July.  Here is a pic of it, it measures 44 X 54 now.

I hope to see some of these finishes on the Quilty Finishes page!  So many pretty quilts!

I did work on my #10 while I was sick.  I did not post a picture - but I made the crumb block 9 patches into 2 lap quilts.  One is quilted and binding almost complete.  Need to make a backing for the other.
