I got some pretty new fabrics, so I've been playing with them . I am making around 100 flying geese Not my favorite block, but my middle son really likes my Cornerstones quilt, so I am making him a similar one and it takes geese....

just finished breakfast and getting to Eureka.  I am going with DH to deliver quilt later.  He was going to go train at this seminar but he is starting to have toe pain and has a lot of work to get done, so we won't be there long... Then I will get back to sewing (hopefully).

I am heading to the sewing room to stitch a bit on the kit I have been cutting out.  I want to see how it going to fit together.

Today was a busy day.  Hard for me because my "quilting buddy" was not in my Cave with me. I finished my One and Done baby quilt by putting the binding on and washing it.  I made a Swaddle Blanket with some gauze I purchased at Hobby Lobby and I made a Self-Binding Receiving Blanket with some left over blocks from the One and Done.

I will be staying in town the next couple of nights due to the storm that is coming through.  I am taking my 2 2 binding projects with me, step 7 of orl to square up 200 pieces and get my 20 minutes in each day, and I think I will take my Wisdom blocks and get the rest of them all cut out.  That should give me enough to do!

This is my next major project. Canestoga Crossing. It was a BOM a year or two ago I think. Hancocks of Paduch sells just the pattern. I saw it on other sites and eBay for $40 plus.

I plan to use 19th century reproduction fabrics.

I have to go out to Prescott Valley LQS today to see if they have more of th KT fabric I want to use for Jann's MQ.  Then maybe I'll come home and decide whether I will make two quilts or one with the MQ blocks.  I also might be able to start doing some cutting and sewing on the Craftsy 2016 BOM for March challenge.  I'm ahead on the blocks, but I need to get the applique pieces cut out.

Happy St. Patrick's day everyone! Appropriately enough - I'm working on an Irish themed quilt.

Working on a OBW today using a beautiful metallic fabric from Kaufman. It takes me to my most happiest place. It’s my youngest grandsons bday. He is 7 yr old. My favorite leprechaun named Lucas! He lives in Oklahoma so I’ll visit on face time today. .

Happy St. Paddys day to you too. Dorian. I too am working on an Irish quilt and I used the same fabric as the shamrocks with the black background for the outer border. hope to finish up the quilting today or tomorrow.

I started cutting pieces for one set of swap blocks for vintage.  Keep getting inturupted and got a late start as the kitchen needed to be cleaned.  Still gotta run and get some things done but plan to get these pieces cut :)

Nothing sewing on in my she cave today or yesterday!   Went and picked up some more KT fabric yesterday, but she didn't have the one I wanted for my MQ binding.  Came home and had cleaning to do, then our daughter and her DH came by.  Today went to Home Depot so Fred could get some saw blades he needs for the cradle he is building.  Then on to Costco.  Came home, put things away and had a wonderful long visit with some friends/neighbors who came by.  It was such a nice time catching up with them.  Hopefully tomorrow!!!  Got sew much I want/need to do and get done.

I have started on my son's, Carson, quilt. Making lots of flying geese. Will work on this until my batting arrives this week, then I really should get my Bear quilt sandwhiched.

I finished a small quilt from strings blocks. It’s for the new grand pup so I used a canvas on the back with poly batting. Very heavy duty, many broken needles, never again. Lol
