Over an hour today on Bea's quilt.

Kerry helped me look for the rest of the purple fabric for the borders of my blocks.  I also spoke to Bea's mom, Cathy (who commissioned me) and she's okay if I have 2 filler blocks if I don't find the other 2 shirts.  I did say I'd make throw pillows when I eventually find them.  Since Cathy has been in my kids' lives forever, she understands, lol.  She's baby-sat them, she's Kerry's Sunday School teacher, and she's subbed for his teachers in pre-school.

Sometimes I question my sanity. ....Occasionally it replies

Spent just 30 min. today.  The rest of the day I spent playing with other projects and then dinner with my daughter and her family.

Chart updated to here.

I took a Shamrock for St Patty's Day... I intend to get some sewing time in later today.  I should be able to complete the top!

Nancy, I looked all around for your post on National Quilting Day, I knew how dedicated you have been.  I finally found where you were working on your spring time pillow, though!  Thanks for sharing the picture of your incredible quilt in progress, and those tiny flying geese!

Mimi and Bonita are getting SO CLOSE!  Sew girls, SEW!

It's been another week since I took over the chart keeping.

Mimi, you are our next winner!  Please PM your addy to me and I will get a prize out to you!

I think since we got behind this month, we should do a push from here until the end of the month for completing the most sewing days, and I will draw a name from there!

I hope you're feeling okay Sheila

I got 35 minutes in today, have all of the blocks sewn on, need to trim the diagonal block halves off.  It's not a top though, as it turns out it is wider than it is long, so I will trim and play with some border ideas tomorrow.

Thanks Glo and Sharon!

Will update the chart in the morning.

3/18 ~ Almost forgot to post today's progress.  3+ hours on quilting.  All the stars and cornerstones are finished.  Now just the setting and corner triangles are left.  I'll be glad when I'm finished this but also a little sad because it's been such a labor of love for my DFIL.  He was in Korea when my husband was born.  When I think about my DMIL having to deal with a newborn and a husband in a war zone, my heart breaks.

My heart is fed with needle and thread.
