Thanks, Sharon! It's actually a mix of wool and flannel. I'm making it as a donation to our church bazaar raffle, so the flannel makes it more economical.

Nancy - Very nice block!  You do such beautiful work!

I finished blks 5a and 5b yesterday, so one more set for me.  I need to get the others cut out.

I love the colors (and the pleasing contrast) of your blocks, Sheila!

Thanks!  This is a BOM our lqs is doing.  Just found out today that the BOM for this month is all the log cabins.  I am sooooo far behind.  But I will get there.

Nancy, love your LOVE block. Will it be a stand alone project or part of a bigger project.

Sheila, that's going to be a beautiful quilt. I've always liked a red and black quilt.

What a pretty prize! Thank you so much. I collect neutrals and I have a blue batik project for this year. This will be a nice addition.

Bonita, I need to figure out the best way to turn these 10-12 blocks into an item to be raffled during the church bazaar. It could be a medium size calendar-type wall hanging or maybe a set of small wall hangings. We'll see what ideas come to me.

Woot, woot - a second block done this month!  This is the April BOM, hand applique and hand embroidery done in wool & flannel on linen.

Four of 12 blocks done now.  I haven't even received the May block yet, so I guess I have an extra week to get started on the March BOM that I skipped (the beehive).

I'm not sure I'll get anything more done on my BOM.  I started the applique work, got all of the applique blocks cut and stems cut and pressed and have one sewn to a block.  I would love to get all of the stems sewn to the blocks.  Then next month maybe I can get the leaves and flowers cut and appliqued on.

Nancy, love those wool blocks!

Marian, So glad you like your fabrics!  I fell in love with that gray!  I was hoping it would work into your stash ok.

Sharon - Keep on going, a little progress will get it finished! (especially applique)
