I finished another top on my longarm. It’s been a process to learn but I’m finally getting there. Now to bind the last two.

Yay, Mona.  It won't be long before you are doing crazy things like quilting two at the same time (yep, I am ).

Mona, they are using the same backing.  It is actually the first time I have made the same quilt twice.  I underestimated the backing fabric just a smidge, so the only way to get the minimum amount of fabric for the side clamps is to quilt them side by side with an inch or so between them.  Made aligning and centering the panto a bit on the tricky side but so far it is working out fine....or as fine as my panto work gets at this point...lol.

Yesterday and this morning I made 15 blocks for the next bookcase quilt.  The rest of this afternoon I am cutting more strips so I can make blocks 16-34 tonight.

Hope all went well with your surgery Bonita.

I've been making a new pencil bag for my middle son...he has a gazillion ;) colored pencils that he uses almost everyday and he needs a new bag for them. Plus I am still quilting on my Phires compass quilt, it keeps getting pushed aside

Keep a smile in your heart :) Dorian

Bonita, hope you are on the mend! Make sure you get lots of rest.

Veronica- wow it takes a lot of blocks for the bookcase quilt. Mine should be a little smaller than your - but really! They are easy though. I can't wait to get the book you recommended for new ideas. Piecing is my superpower - not applique - yet.

I hope to sew.  If I can't sew I hope to maybe do some cleaning, sorting or something related to my fabric/supplies.
