I know this is late--working out of town, no internet, blah, blah, blah.  I get tired of listening to myself!

Anyway, here is the progress I made on this month's quilt, Fresh Cut Flowers.  It is very slow going, but I really like the finished blocks.  The inclusion of the black "leading" makes the batiks almost translucent, I think.  But, boy, are there LOTS of little pieces.  And if you can read that, congratulations!

I also got started on the Oregon quilt--made most of the sections for the center medallion.  This is the 5th quilt I've made from this pattern, the one in my avatar.  This time I am using prints instead of batiks, because my daughter doesn't care for batiks.  I've already had to rip out a couple of times because I didn't double check which side of the fabric was facing up.  Learning curve.
