Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  My sewing area is totally ripped apart and I'm in the midst of a total purge.  But the fabrics for the sky and barns, both red and black, have been pulled and put in a safe place.  Hopefully that place will still be found when I'm finished with the major clean up.   Thanks for your patience as I try to calm the storm.

My heart is fed with needle and thread.

Here's a better photo showing the blue sky.

DuH it's upside down but I did use the hint to put white beside the blue.

I see your blue skies, Evelyn. like

I have my swapping blocks bagged and tagged! Making a few more for myself because it's fun to try some new designs for that 4" traditional block.

Thank you, Nancy, for the hint about a piece of white paper. I obviously didn’t edit it out and didn’t have to adjust the colors.
I bought twice as much red as I needed so will piece more barns too. I think I may already have some 4” blocks in my orphan block box. Will have to check it out. But next Monday my contractor is coming to remodel our master closet. Plus Monday my DD is coming for a seminar at the university and I’ll be babysitting the 4-month old twins. Bet I won’t have the energy to sew anything until they leave. Then I have jury duty the next week. Ugh! Retirement isn’t supposed to have appointments.

Checking in.  I have resewn the silo section of 1 block twice.  I keep sewing the skiy to the wrong edge.

Going to finish it this morning and hopefully, mail by tomorrow or Friday.

Glad they got to you and on time, I always kind of worry they might get lost or something. Thanks for the kind words GG.

Checking in, almost done.  We are all sick with colds and temps but still making progress.  It has been years since I have made any quilt blocks, I have to learn it all again.  I have been busy making 3D picture quilts, Alzhemiers mats and crosses, they are all beautiful but do not take any of the precision it takes to make a block.  It is time to start a 3D for the church to have in early spring so that will have to be my focus for the winter.  But, I will follow along watching these beautiful swaps.
