Do you have a large stash?  Do you need to NOT buy more fabric this month?  Here's the place to sign up - You can have ONE exception - for instance you need to buy batting to finish a quilt, thread, or maybe one fq of a specific color.

This is the honor system - we won't know if you actually didn't buy anything, but....

Sign up and then post once a week, to let us know if you are still on track for a no buy month.

I tried to buy from LauraB on the trading post, but Glo saved me, so now you can put me down on the chart, and I'll try to be good. like

I don't intend to buy anything "quilty" but I have to buy the satin, etc for the costumes I'm making for my gd. So if this counts I can't do it. If this is okey, add me in.

I'm out.  I spent almost $300 at the fabric/quilt store today.  Bought backing for my Japanese Fan, and another king-sized BOM pattern, and all the fabric to make it.  It will be beautiful.  Almost bought another Judy Niemeyer, but decided to wait until next month, to see if I even work on the two I have waiting in my sewing room right now.

I am out this month.  My goal is to use just stash unless I absolutely do not have something that works and not buying would be an inferior look.  I had to purchase 1 yard of a red.  I have little red in my stash because it always varies so much.

Congrats to those that are making it.

ha ha ha I didn't last long DIL had to go to hobby lobby and as we don't have this franchise in OZ I went for a look see. DD came with us and she found some flamingo fabric as it was so cheap I bought enough to make her a pair of pillow slips.
I'm thinking this fabric as it's not Quilt store quality I should def wash it before I sew it.
Thoughts please.

Those quilt shops are TRYING to catch me!  My local shops are advertising sales...  Keepsake Quilting, Annie's, and Connecting Threads keep sending catalogs...

But I am holding STRONG!  No buying in January!  (I'm glad The Quilted Cow in Branson had their live, online sale at the end of December.  That nice purchase should make this 30-day fabric "fasting" easier.)
