Owl #1 is complete. I have the BOM so it does not tell you which fabric goes where, that was problem number 1, number 2 was i started to sew the first one together and found that it was ugly lol. I finally got the light bulb to turn on in my brain and I looked at the cover photo of the pattern book. Because I have the same exact fabric as on the cover I started matching the fabrics that way. I ripped today and put the owl together right. I hope all my mistakes are behind me (at least for the owls).

Looking forward to seeing your owls, Leah. I worked on the HH's today and have 8 faces done. I'll try to get to the spines tomorrow. Only ripped once and that was because I sewed on the wrong side of the line.

Irene your quilt turned out sooooooo cute. Hopefully will get mine ready for quilting this weekend. It was supposed to be done a long time ago.

Bonita I love your hedgehogs. They are so stinkin cute. I am guessing you are doing the larger quilt.

Bonita, your hedgehogs are so cute! Is that a portable design wall? Did you make it or buy it? That's about all I can have in my dinning room/sewing room.

Ggggreat job Marian !!!  Someone will just LOVE this quilt.

Just last night Jace was pointing at the items on his quilt asking grandpa " Whats that?"   over and over for each thing.

Thanks, Marion. Yes I made the design board myself. It's made with the tri fold 1/4 inch foam projecct board. I cut down my Fons and Porter flannel design wall and glued it to the back. Works great and folds up and goes behind my dresser when not in use. I got the board at JoAnns. Used a 50% off coupon.

Bonita, I love your hedgehogs! Are you using some of those FQs you won in the Super Bowl contest a couple of years ago?
