Thanks Glo. Here is a picture of my little stack of 11 quilts that I am taking up to ICN today whan I go to work. I have been making these over the last 6 months. I have to say, how satisfying it is to see them all stacked up like that and ready to go.

I finally have a finish that I can post here. It's for my 4 year old step great grandson. Good pattern, machine applique and easy to make, but.......I thought I'd take a shortcut to simplify and it was a disaster. I've never ripped, cussed or thrown things at the wall like with this one and all my own fault. Lesson learned and will be remembered if I decide to make one for my 9 month old great grandson next year.

Judy, what an adorable quilt and your great grandson is absolutely going to love it. You know, I have had more than one of those projects...nothing went wrong, the seam ripper is supposed to be our friend, and then it becomes our nemisis.  Hope there are no holes in your wall.  I think  you should make it again for your other great grandson.  We learn sew much through our trials and errors.  Well done, Great Grandma!

Sheila, cute snowmen!  Are they mug rugs, placemats, wall hangings?  (I marked them as 2 smalls.  Let me know if you think that should be 4 smalls at 8 hours each.)

Judy, I know your grandchild is going to love the heavy equipment quilt and will never hear of the trials it gave you!  Sounds effects, please, "Vroom, vroom!"  (I marked this as a large.  It is over 40"x40", isn't it?)

Sharon, I love, love ,love it. Your son will be thrilled with it. May I ask how you quilted the sashings I can't tell from the picture but I like the looks of it.

Thanks for the compliments.

Bonita, I quilted the sashings with the wish bone pattern.  It's all FMQ so not all that perfect, but I do like the way it turned out.  And I think our son will like it.

Great job on your bear paws! I love to see swap blocks put to use. That's perfect for a guy quilt!
