I did finish my Valentine's Quilt. Then my sewing machine decided it was tired and started screaming at me. I think it's finally time to get a new sewing machine and retire this one.  Good thing I have a back up that I can use until a new one arrives.

Robin, that's a cool finish!  I love stars!

My September UFO, FGV is a top!  I finished the four blocks I was making and added them to it.  It's on my design wall waiting for me to sandwich and quilt.  I have the binding all made.  Just need to make the backing.  Wondering how I am going to quilt it.

This month has been a bust for me.  I did get some squares sewn together, so I did make progress, I just don't see getting to it again by the end of the month.

Yesterday I was able to piece the backing for FGV and cut the batting to fit.  It's all on my design wall and today I hope to spray baste and press it and hopefully get to quilting it.  It's big...63 x 77

This is taking longer than I thought.  I have 11 of 20 FGV blocks quilted.  I decided to do something different on each block.   I am experimenting with FMQ classes I have taken online and NOT SO MUCH.Still hoping that I have a finish by end of month, but have two days before end of month pretty well sewed up with Must Dos.  Either way, this will be a finished quilt.  Turning out cuter than I thought but not as beautiful as I had  hoped.  Hoping I have nothing more than time to improve.  I have to say, that as I quilt each block, I am loving each and every one, the fabrics chosen by each of you (wish I had some of your fabrics) and can't wait to have this quilt totally done and then decide what I will do with it.

Well, I got 5 more blocks done on FGV.  Only 6 more.  Then the sashings and border.  Not sure I'm gonna have a finish, though I have 3 more days to get this done.  My binding is all ready to sew on.  I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

This was my other project this month - Cats and Rails.  This was a swap long ago here.  I put 2 quilts together from the stack of blocks this month and hand quilted them.  This one is 61x73 inches and the other Cats and Rails is 42x43.

I think these will go to a niece for her babies

September UFO is a finish.  Farm Girl Vintage, 63 x 77, each block individually FMQ and ruler quilted and my first time making flange binding.  I love the finish.

Love it, Sharon! My top is done but I may change it so it's for a smaller bed for the granddaughter.

The Farm Girl Vintage quilt is really nice.  It took me a bit to figure out "FGV" in your posts!

All those different cat fabrics.  Nice job.

Since my number 8 was finished, I worked on Urbanologie (29).  I saw this quilt made up at Stitchin' Post in Sisters, OR, and liked it.  Which is odd, because I'm not much of a modern fan.  But I liked this and right off thought, "I'll do it in Grunge fabrics."  They are so nice to work with.  And the blocks look really cool.  The quilt will go to my former boss who turned 30 earlier this year and then moved away.  He is a pretty modern, urban kind of guy so I thought the quilt would be appropriate.

Thanks to this group, I have finished 22 quilts this year.  Not all were started in 2018, just completed.  But when I look at my list, I feel I've gotten nowhere!  When does it stop?!?!?!?

Women of the Bible.  15 out of the 40 block completed.  Made a little dent.  Will continue at a later date.
