I'm going rosy pinks and greens.. have the pinks pulled but still need to pull greens.  I want to get barns bagged up before I pull out the greens and start cutting.

I'm going to open the DEAR JANE contest tonight or tomorrow.  woohoo

Tomorrow I'm going into my guest room and see if I can come out with my Jane..

She's going to be deep into the corner and deep under other things....   Poor Jane.

Tomorrow when I am over at the office getting the Tiara set up, I will pull the container with Jane in it and bring her home so I can do a bit on her.  Hoping to get a block or two done every week.  If I remember right I only have the blocks for the first row done, but I think I have all the blocks drafted and most of them cut out of fabric.

My sewing machine is calling me and today I hope to listen! Sally

I finished H-3 tonight!  Going to try finding my old chart of the blocks and see if I can remember how to update it.

It has been a while since I was able to work on DJ.  Today it worked out for me to put in two hours on her.

I haven't seen my Dear Jane in a looooooooooong time. I know where it is.... maybe one of these days I'll pick it back up again.

I now have NINE blocks quilted in Feb.    I wanted 15 and now that's not possible...  I have March and the oNE & DONE contest so there is plenty of hope to finish MORE in this quarter.

As of March 1st,  I got 22 blocks (225 block quilt) hand quilted since I unearthed Jane.  :)

My pledge is to quilt on it every day.. and if it's only a thread, I'm most happy with that.   Jane is my ONE & DONE project.

I'm still here. Haven't done any more since January, energy got transferred to a paying project, but I'll be on a break from that until I get batting so I'm going to get in another few Jane blocks now. I've just accumulated several small scraps and long 3/4" strips in a single fabric, I bet I can find some blocks perfect for using that.

I used to have a handle on life, but it fell off.

I have to say I am so very happy I registered my DJ under the ONE and DONE contest.   I don't have any massive milestone to report but the constant thread here and there have brought me a bit of comfort.

We're still having some chilly mornings here and there so I won't put DJ away until it's too hot to hand quilt.

3/19 -  I got 3 threads quilted before Hope decided she needed 'close' time and I had to put the quilt away.    One thread this morning and then 2 tonight.  :D

My primary sewing focus for April will be quilting a wall hanging so I can get paid, and it'll just be a busier time in general, but I'm going to shoot for a Jane block a week for the month.

I've packed Jane for camp.   I will quilt 10 blocks before putting her away for Summer.   Even with quilting 30 blocks every Winter, it will be YEARS and YEARS before it's done.    Who knows.. maybe after these 10, I'll attempt a few more blocks.   2025 seems so far away.

225 blocks.. about 3 threads per block.. each thread about 30 minutes..     What was I thinking?

Guess who forgot her dear Jane book. Yep. So I can see how Jane quilted her blocks. I am quilting lines across the top. It’s that or take lots of naps. But it is progress. Yay
