So many pretty finishes being shared. I love seeing everyone’s projects.
I have two finishes for August. A large, 56” x 69”, and a small.
I made a Lloyd to match my Lola pillow. I also put together my blocks from the 2016 Bright Modern Sampler BOM quilt along and got it quilted and bound. I like it much better now that it is a quilt.

Here's my latest finish. It is 76x76. It has been a long time UFO. It's called Shiloh. I bought the pattern from Bonnie Blue quilts and I'm not sure they even exist anymore!

I wish I had the desire and ability to quilt it beautifully,  but I've decided that in the interest of time and my pocketbook, I quilt my own quilts minimally. This one took forever even at that!

I will get a better picture this weekend. I have three now that need photos taken.

LaDawn, that is beautiful!   There is nothing wrong with minimal quilting.  The densley quilted quilt designs look neat, but it leaves a very stiff quilt to wrap up in.  It is nice to let the quilt itself shine!

Sheila, what an adorable finish!  The boots are all so colorful and your border fabric is perfect.

They're 37 1/2" by 47", and I would consider them small Nancy.   Appreciate you're checking!

Completed an UFO from a few years ago. Modified Loyal Union Soldier. 76 x 86. This may go to my dear step daughter who recently went through a painful divorce.

Chris, your pillow may be small, but I know how much time the piecing must have taken.  I watched my friend, MNTerri, stitching a baby quilt from the same designer. She used a fun, textured minky for the lama's body.

Love your "Bright and Modern" quilt-along finish, too!  Your fabrics coordinated perfectly! Did you stick to one fabric line?  I didn't finish mine because I struggled with color combinations as I pulled in too many different fabrics, I think.

That llama is so cute. Minky for the body, how smart. She did good Nancy.

Nancy,
I used scraps from a previous quilt I made. The fabrics aren’t from a collection - rather “sale” fat quarters I collected and a few pieces of yardage. There are probably 20 different fabrics in it. I ran out of sashing fabric, so I bought one yard to use for the inner border and the binding.
Your friends llama quilt is darling. What a good idea to use minky for texture, but I bet that made it harder to piece.

Thanks for all the time you put in to make this thread possible. I do enjoy seeing everyone’s quilts.
