I signed up for the emails. Looks a bit like Pat Sloan's BOM Let's go Camping. Both on point. This one looks a little more formal. Pat's is more whimsical. But I can handle 10 1/2". Pretty blocks.

I don't think I have ever participated in a block of the week. And I certainly don't need 18 blocks for my usual quilt (throw).

I pulled together some fabric for the first 2 blocks.

Oh yes-this will be from my stash. I plan on one color for each block with a white background. I hope that makes the colors pop.

I only need 2 colors for the browns and blue is dark, medium and light. Let the pressure begin.

Well I finally finished my 3 Bonnie Hunter mysteries and can work on catching up on things with my Blockheads 2 and Summer at the Cabin.  Here are my offerings for the first three weeks.  Not perfect by any means but done and ready for Monday.

I like your fabric selections, Mimi! This BOW has some challenging block designs.

Wow, nice Mimi. I thought they'd send me the fabric each month. They sent it all at once and I have to sort it. Shoot.

Thanks to you and Nancy for your encouragement.

Deb, I didn't buy the kit for the fabric as I have way too many CW repros in my stash.  I'm just keeping to the colorways as the patterns gets released. Gotta use up this yardage somehow...I did break down and get the large piece of blue for the border though.
