Karen, after thinking about it I finally checked out Wild Hare Fibers and decided to order the kit.  Haven't heard anymore about whether they have shipped or not...wondering if you got shipping notice and whether you think it was worth it.  Doesn't matter cause I've paid for it and now just waiting but kind of wondering what you think.

Sharon, I didn't get a shipping notice, or any contact after the order acknowledgment. That is probably why it seemed to take so long to get here, but looking back, I came to realize that it was really only a week before it came.

I do think that the wool is beautiful, and the ladies I heard about if from said it was a generous amount for their sampler.

Let me know what you think!

Karen, glad your wool came and that you say it's beautiful.  I'm going to PO this morning to mail the Medallion to Candis and maybe mine will be there.  I'll let you know.

Sharon, when did you order?

I had really thought I would work on mine today, but it didn't happen.... DS is staying with us again, and it makes it harder for me to be down there. Would have been perfect, maybe tomorrow..

Karen, I ordered on the 12th...they responded to my inquiry and said it had been shipped "several days ago".  Wasn't there yesterday when I checked, but I might have been too early.  Gonna look again today.

EDIT:  My wool is here.  Karen, I think that the variety of colors is great and it will do a lot of the blocks, at least.  Mostly good sized pieces :)

Oh good Sharon! That's about the same amount of time it took mine, and I'm glad you like it! I am excited about the beautiful colors and variety too. This coming week I'm thinking I have some nice sewing room time!

No stitching to report, but last weekend we did take our grandson to a wool market, which was kind of fun. We got to see sheep shearing, sheep dog herding, and see the wool being spun, as well as lots of vendors to show him the finished products, including his dad's favorite socks. Not a lot of felted wool other than some ornaments, but it was fun.

That's all I have to report at this time.... eh

Bonita, what a beautiful block you made.  I really love the mix of colors.  Your pink pot is gorgeous.

Bonita, I haven't done any yet.  Have one traced and ready to cut out and that's as far as I go so far.

I still intend to get to mine as well. Family and obligations, along with summertime, (the very thing we are trying to commemorate here) seem to keep get to g in my way..... nervous
