Thanks for the great idea Dorian!!  I've sketched it out onto grid paper, now will move this idea to my sewing room and make up some mock blocks!!  I feel "sew" inspired!!

You're welcome!! Can't wait to see what you did.

Nice fish Bonita.

I just made my dd a roll up bag for some fancy drawing pens. I need to make her a small bag for her camera too. She likes to carry her camera around with her everywhere she goes, so I make abag that ties around her waist for it. She needs a new one.

Keep a smile in your heart :) Dorian

As you can relate, my grands parents left for anniversary weekend, so I was dashing around to get the sashing done while they napped.

Phew! Life gets in the way of sewing, doesn’t it?! I’m going to be working on a carrying case for my Featherweight and it’s case—don’t want to risk those vintage handles! I’m going to make a machine cover and pincushion to match, so she’ll be all fashionable!

I bought a quilt kit off the trading post this year and got half the top done yesterday and early today. It’s pinks and greens, pretty sure it will be gifted.

So I am trying to decide between working on the block for the farm quilt, crawling back into bed for a nap or reading for a bit.  At some point I will work on the block, would love to get it done today.

Finished the top, will get a picture tonight. Have the layer cake cut out for a cat quilt, now to cut the background squares and draw the hundreds of lines. lol
Heading home to Baggs tonight after work to see Gage and Ellie.
