I am happy to say that the bedroom looks much better.  I just need to vacuum. :)

Good for you Chelle! clap

Brenda, that's a good goal. And I certainly know how it is with the little ones! My grandkids here have their own bedroom, which helps.

GG, a remodel can be very disruptive in process, but will be wonderful when finished!

Good luck everyone!

Here's your weekly inspiration, or goals if you like.  Last year, we even painted our bathroom at this time, still love the color, the new toilet and the mirrored cabinet over the sink.

My bedroom closet could certainly use some work however..

From Mary:

This is week six of the 91 Day Declutter Challenge! Don’t worry if you are just joining us now or have missed some of the previous challenge tasks – jump right in with us here.

You are so close to half way. You’ve got this! This week is especially satisfying!

Now on to your assignment for the week …

Week #6 – Master Bathroom & Closet

Here are the areas to declutter each day to complete the master bathroom and closet. If you don’t have a specific master bathroom or a master bedroom closet, do the main bathroom you use and where you store your clothes.

Monday – Closet: clothes

Tuesday – Closet: shoes and accessories

Wednesday – Closet: shelves and drawers

Thursday – Closet: surfaces and floor

Friday – Bath: cabinets and drawers

Saturday – Bath: counters and floor

Sunday – rest for the week ahead

I've been stalled for the last few weeks.  I did clear off the top of a desk/cabinet but just put the stuff in a bin.  I'll sort through it another time when I have less of a sewing deadline.

I have been doing so well.  I have the house all done.  Need to take the donation items to the Woman's Shelter and Hospice Resale shops.

Now I am working on the garage.  My fabric stash is in a climate-controlled, cedar-lined closet that was in there when we bought this house -- no lie.  It is all cleaned up and organized now.  What a difference that makes.  It's a 3 car garage and we only use the two car side.  So DH has his workshop in half of the one car side and I have a craft-gift wrapping table out there.  I am now going through all that stuff.  I always buy that kind of stuff at Garage Sales and dump it out there.  So it is a mess.  Working on it all week and probably next week too.

Thanks for posting this -- it is such an awesome idea.  It is amazing how much you can accomplish in 15 minutes.

I can do the bathroom easy peasy.  I am NOT doing DH's closet, he has clothes all over and I don't know his method.  My clothes are in my sewing closet, and yeah... I need to hang clothes up.  Sometimes it is just easier to set the clothes down for "later".   So I should be able to knock this out before I take Max to school. :)

I am still working in my sewing room.  Today I mailed a huge box of scraps to a dear quilting friend, Veronica, her and her daughters are going to love the great pieces I sent them.

I have folded all my FQS and put them by colors in plastic boxes.  These are ready to go into my tall cabinet.  I cleaned out all my books and they are back in the cabinet.  I bought storage containers for my Go Machine Dies.  I saw some that when closed they look like books so that is what I bought.  They each hold several of the Dies.  Now I just need to find a spot on the shelves to put them.  LOL  I need a bigger room.

I do feel like am making great progress.  I am shocked at how much better everything is looking.  I still have a bit to go.

So many choices of where to put things.
