I lost my quilting mojo for awhile, so have been doing a bit of crumb piecing.  Yowsers!  Making crumb blocks is never ending, but fun.  It seems there's always a "small" piece from triming that fits into another started block.  LOL  No matchy-matchy.  I'll take a photo of the pile I have so far......

And it all started out with scrappy string blocks and THEN a quilty friend send me a huge box of useable scraps.  Beware---- they're habit forming.  Wink

Deanne, so nice to see your post.  I've missed you! :)

OK, can't wait to see a pic of your Crumb Quilt.  I've seen some stuff about them, but haven't tried it.  Sounds interesting.

I basted and quilted a wall quilt today with the plan to bind, label, and mail it tomorrow.  I have the next quilt ready to be started on so I may even do a little bit on that as well.

Working on my Sunbonnet Sues today. I need to make a practice block to practice the satin stitch with my new sewing machine. I haven't sewn much the last four months. I made my granddaughter some spring dresses and finished the pillows for my guest bed. I've been crocheting a bunch. Got a bedspread done then decided to use the leftover yarn to make some pillows. I was surprised to get four made with the scraps.

Evelyn,

That afghan and pillows are beautiful!  Nice Work.

I got my butterfly toppers done yesterday.  Do your Bit blocks complete, bagged and tagged today, and working on Dogs in Sweaters, 3 more blocks.  At least all of those pieces are cut out.

Evelyn, that is a gorgeous bed spread and the pillows are so pretty and sweet!   You were very busy crocheting, indeed.  Very Nice!

Thank you, ladies. I finished the pillows and have been working on an afghan for a chair in that bedroom. Have some new drapes to finish then I want to finish a wallhanging from some orphan blocks.

Thank you again, friends. Crocheting is much easier than quilting when I'm under stress plus a lot less dangerous than using a rotary cutter. Chemo again Thursday so I have my yarn packed. We sit at the infusion center from 8am to 6pm or later. Hubby is given lots of Benadryl so naps. Nice side effect that calms him down.

My cat quilt will Be picked up from the longarmer this weekend, on the way to my aunt’s funeral, so I can bind it and deliver. The baby quilt will hopefully be finished quilting this weekend or at least by Monday. The gal went into labor several weeks early so I need to speed up. Then I can get back to my projects, finishing Ellie’s quilt then sending it with Gage’s to be quilted.
