Karen, me too, after I saw the quilt I was so disappointed I didn't join in the swap even tho I'm afraid the shade of color I pick out is wrong......

It seems like at some point I made a SITP, unfortunately I lost the book I use to have to keep track.

Today it almost felt like I wasn't suppose to sew, but I pushed through.  Sewed, ripped, trimmed, sewed ripped, trimmed, sewed and pressed.  Finally I got the quilt top made.  After a break I got the borders on and have it sandwiched and ready to quilt tomorrow.  I think my wallhanging is one of my favorites of what I have made so far.

hoping I do the re-assembling correctly...if not I will be calling Kay (sorefingers) and/or hauling this to TN Retreat in April...

I am wanting to re-attach sleeve cuffs instead of having flapping open sleeve...those DRIVE ME CRAZY!

Donna, I want to make one of those, too.  Nana Bear made 2 beautiful ones at TN retreat.  She could probably give you some guidance.  I'm trying to remember how to do it!

Chelle, sometimes I have those days feeling like you described.  And like you, lots of ripping happens during those days...ugh!

So what does SITP mean?  I didn't understand what you are talking about here but I'm sorry you "lost the book".

Donna/FSQ, I know you'll get your sweatshirt jacket re-assembled correctly...if it's the one I saw you working on in TN this past spring, it's beautiful and needs a finish!  I've never made one of these sweatshirt jackets and could kick myself for not joining in when Kay taught us at QATW Camps-Quilt-A-Lot held in TN back in 2014.  I remember meeting you there for the first time and you actually made one of these awesome jackets at that time.

As for me, today I hope to finish making the gazillion cream/brown flying geese units for the Bonnie Hunter MQ.  Then after that, it's onto putting together the 50 blocks.

SITP - Shakespear in the Park

Today I added 2 rows of charms to my KT charm quilt to make it longer and then added the inner border and 2 sides of the quilt got the outer border.  :)

Woohoo so close to a finish Donna!

GG you will be keeping warmer soon :)

So I am looking at this Color Wash quilt kit I have.  Just reading through the instructions and wondering if I am nuts for trying this.  I know it can be done, will just have to take it slow and concentrate.  It mentions the option to get the Deb Tucker's Diamond Rects ruler.  Does anyone know anything about it?  Looks like its about 25.00.

I love reading how active everyone has been. So inspirational. Nothing happening in my sewing room. It's clean, organized, vacuumed, and dusted. Kind of a ghost town.

Donna, love the jacket and the cuffs turned out so good....

Yesterday made 1 large set of star blocks, after having to rip out the last two or three FG star points, I quick. Thought if I'm going to rip might as well rip off the border on BH scrappy trip around the world.... got about half way before company came in.....

Donna, love the jacket!  It was me, not Glo, who said it was NanaBear.  My Bad!!  I knew it was Pam but messed up  Your jacket is beautiful and you did a great job putting the cuffs on.  I have a beautiful batik JR that I want to make a sweatshirt jacket with.  Just have to get a sweatshirt.

I got both of my #11 Jan UFO Tumbler quilts sandwiched and spray basted yesterday.  Got one of them quilted and ready to bind.  Today I'll get the other one quilted and hope to have the binding on both and have two finishes.  Sew glad! :)

Going to work on the Charmed swap block for a while. Then off to help sell Girl Scout cookies this afternoon. We have a room full of cases of cookies. DD is a co-leader and cookie Mom. The next 4 weekends will be taken over by cookies!!

Good job on those cuffs, Donna! clap I've only made one sweatshirt jacket so far, so I couldn't offer any help. I have patterns for 4 more styles, but somehow never seem to get started on those.

I have today free after 14 days of babysitting two sick grandkids.  I am going to go into my sewing room and start organizing.  I want to pull all UFOs out and decide what type of project boxes I want to get.

Any suggestions??
