I do not make resolutions for the simple reason I don't even keep them past January but this year I really need to give it a try.  Since I have  such a pile of stuff to quilt my 2018 resolution is to get at least one thing quilted each month.  Now that I said it I better get busy.  Quit laughing.

Great resolution, I dont normally but this year mine is to do more for charity (so im collecting bits and bobs for shoe box appeal in December 2018 the items go for victims of domestic abuse, since i can collect bits all through the year it means that the amount of money spent at one time is not so noticable. The other one is too not be so lazy loose weight and also start making my Christmas pressies earlier, its going well so far ive already started the first one. Woohoo.

Lots of love

I like Dogsbody's resolution. Mine never last to long, so I quit making them. To hard to keep those promises made to myself. I can keep promises made to other people.

Frances, doing anything for charity is a good resolution.  I started quilting the first one this morning but had to stop to go grocery shopping but hope to get it done this weekend.

I’m too old to keep making resolutions. Like most, I never keep them long. So. I will just do my best to be happy with myself and situations surrounding me. To change the things I can. To accept the things I can’t. Hopefully (as the prayer goes). The wisdom to know the difference. Amen.

Last night while driving home, DH and I were at a stoplight just across the street from a Fitness type center...you know the one...2 stories high with huge see through windows where you can see people doing their workouts on treadmills, steppers and such?  Well, I took a look at the packed Fitness center and told DH "look at all those New Year's resolutions doing their workouts".  We both giggled because in our earlier ages we both been there, done that...LOL.

I'm with Candis...love your post Candis.  The Serenity Prayer works for me too.

I have a few resolutions.

1. To continue to be true to myself.

2. To be more kind to my body.

3. To work on not overthinking everything.

4. To make more quilts.

As long as I'm breathin', there's no bad days.~ Alabama
