Well, my 12 is not a tablerunner. It's Prairie Star Baskets. I have cut all the fabric. Yay!!

And I finished a heron wall hanging for my landlady. Pictures this weekend when I go home. This should be my last day out of town.

November's UFO is done!

Now, to finish hand-stitching the binding on my October one!

Teatime - many thanks.  I hadn't read the tips file, and wow! the two arrangements look completely different, don't they?  I might look into making a quilt with just this one block in different colours.

OK, folks.  I'm about to WOW you with 5 finishes.  Two completely done with binding and three done except for binding.  Since I machine sew the binding, I should have these finished by the end of the weekend.  These are all throw size prayer quilts.  I don't remember the numbers of them and am too lazy to go back and check, but they are all on my initial list.

The second one uses left-over four patches from one I did a couple of months ago but I cut the 4 patches down by an inch and I like the smaller blocks much better.

The third one -- Texas floral -- is a Merry Mayhem New Year mystery from 4 years ago.  I didn't like it and put the blocks into the UFO tub, but pulled it out last week to finish.

December is done. I enjoyed working on this little wall hanging. I squiggle quilted the grey areas in a medium grey and used a coordinating orange in the patterned areas. The binding matches the backing which is pieced grey fat quarters. This time I tried using the buttonhole stitch to machine sew the binding down and I really like it. I still need lots of practice but that's okay because I still have several UFOs and WiPs in the bins.

I have had a wonderful time all year working on these projects. If it weren't for this group I would have skipped several months but each month I've wanted to get a project finished or at least worked on significantly.

Ellie got a full bed instead of a twin so making more blocks for her quilt. Glad I found out now. I have been embroidering blocks and titles on the books.

Thanks for facilitating December Brigit- Carol. I am still working on sashing for my two Moose on the Porch BOM. I’ll have to wait until next year!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Beautiful finishes everyone!

Eli, I looked at the chart you have going, and I have completed the placemats and quillow you listed, thanks for doing that!

I will have to look at my original list from last year, and continue working on my ufo's in this coming year.  I seem to have more sewing time these days, and that has been great.  I completed quite a few things this year, and look forward to completing more in the coming year.  Here's to 2018!

Happy New Year everyone

Happy New Year, everyone.  We sure got a lot done with this challenge.  I enjoyed having the extra push and very much enjoyed looking at all of your projects.  Thanks for sharing.

Thank you to the facilitators.  You did a great job!

Here is the finished heron wallhanging.  It is from McKenna Ryan's Aurora Ridge pattern.  I made it for my landlady.

  And this is the back.

QuiltingBeachy-- your two finishes are fantastic.  I do so admire folks who make intricate quilts -- mine are always large blocks and easier ones.  Except for my annual Bonnie Hunter mystery, but I usually take a year to finish that one.

Robin and TrailDancer, both of your WHs are quite lovely.

Happy New Year, everyone.

I didn't finish anything in December except 8 bowl cozies, one casserole carrier, and 14 pillowcases.  I'm ready for the January projects with many UFO's.

I'm curious what happened to JackieH?  She started the 2017 thread and then sort of disappeared in November?  I hope she is well.
