Yes, it seems they are changing the free ones every 2 days. So far there have been 3 or 4 each time and they change them out sometime in the evening.

Lots of cute ones, I'll never live long enough to make them all. I'll just have to pick my favorites

I had emailed The Stitching Post in IN the other day to see if their block had been spotlighted.  I got a call from the shop owner (she said she didn't like to do emails as a phone call was much more personal and she got to know her customers better) and she told me no, it hadn't been posted yet but it would be very soon.  In our conversation, she told me that gals from her shop had been told, I believe at Market, that one could use a regular stapler to staple the wool pieces to the background instead of using fusibles, glue, pins, or hand basting them.  She said she didn't know if that information was included in their pattern as another gal was doing it.  I don't know if that works well but I am certainly going to try it the next time I work on wool.  Just be sure that no staples are covered up with other pieces as you couldn't remove them after the fact.  The staple remover should make it relatively easy to remove.  Just an idea and I am going to give it a try.  Only 8 more patterns and this little journey will be completed.  Hope to do alot of wool stitching next year.

Marge, I watched a video a while ago and she used a stapler. I liked the idea with no pins to hang up your thread on. Careful removel of the staples and you would never know they had been there. I've saved all but 1 or 2 which I would never make, lots of woolies in our futures.

Marge, thanks for the post and I will keep this in mind for future WOOL work!  I am doing some wool stitching now and will try this next time.
