Marge, I wondered where you were. Sorry you have been sick but glad you are now ready to sew

I have many, many tops too. I have decided I prefer to do simple quilting on most quilts and only do fancier quilting on special quilts. Most recipients don't appreciate all that quilting and I'd like to see them finished and useful rather that sitting in my tub waiting to be quilted.

Marge, glad to see you feeling better.  Your list is a little longer than mine, and mine too mostly need to be quilted.  I just finished quilting a small baby quilt that I was able to whip out in under an hour.  Now I need to make the binding and get it bound.  I still have 1-1/2 tubs of quilt tops that I haven't gone through or listed, LOL.  I think I'm in for a long quilting siege.

Jackie, I'm doing mostly simple meandering or loop quilting.  I tried something new on this baby quilt, not sure I like it, but it was a good quilt to try something new on.  But my 4th quilt of the month is now quilted, so now maybe I'll really set a record for myself with finishing off 4 UFO's in one month.  I'm not sure I can keep up the pace, especially if I get into some of the bigger ones, I think I have 3 or 4 queen/king sized ones to do and they sometimes present a problem for me.

Marge - glad to hear you're on the mend.  The flu is no fun.  I had to laugh when I saw your list (laugh with you, not at you) as mine has grown to about 40+ and January isn't over yet!  lol  In looking for backing and borders, I keep finding MORE UFOs!

#4 is now quilted and if the rain will let me, I'll be going on an expedition into Area 51.  The fabric is in tubs, but I still don't want to chance getting it wet.

On the extra project for January, it needs a simple border and then loaded onto Gracie.  Maybe, just maybe both will be finished for January (fingers crossed).

I need to continue working on my Dec-Jan-nowFeb project for this month. I didn't make nearly the progress I had hoped for. The piano key border is almost complete, then I can begin the quilting...

I surely hope February is a better quilting month..... nervous

While looking through the stash and tubs for other things, I keep finding more UFO's to add to the list.  It's pretty bad...my list doesn't seem to get any shorter, appears to be growing everyday.

LOL Karla - I know exactly what you mean and I am afraid there is no cure for it.  They just keep multiplying.  You have done great thus far so keep it up.

Thanks, Marge.  I just found out today that my other niece is also expecting in August or September I think, so now I have to add another one to the list.  The list just keeps growing.

Hi everyone, I'm back again. I hope all is well with everyone. I'm back from 2 hand surgeries and 3 hospital admissions, not for my hands. I'm happy to report that although my hands are weak, tire easily at this time I am almost pain free!. I 'm so very happy I had my hands fixed. I also finally got my computer unlocked and in a few days I will have my pics posted. I have a lot of things to catch up on again. Please be patient with me. Joy

My first finish I-spy.  I started this in IL 2016.  It is a baby quilt/play mat for my Grandson.  The backing is roads for trucks and cars to drive on.

Size 55 x 55
