Me, too!  I printed off the templates and diagram, now need to make my second block.  I am distracted by Christmas ornaments.

No sewing here, Sharon.  Been helping a couple empty the quilt store they closed.  I have had fun handling hundreds of bolts of fabric, tho.

Finished my block..I think. I have a lot of little "do-dads" I have saved over the years, many of them buttons, bows and other embellishments I've removed from my kids outgrown clothes. I'm trying to incorporate many of them.

I spent probably two hours at Joanns the other day looking/shopping/finding trims/buttons/and other "finds" to embellish my blocks with..I think I am looking in the wrong places.

I feel so behind lol.  I have been searching for some hand embriodery ideas for the big sections, as well as trying to figure out what to do for my seam stitching.  So many ideas out there.

These are my blocks 1 and 2 in two color ways.  I cannot figure out why my block 2 in the neutral colors came out with so little fabrics on some of the pieces???

Hi Sharon, Your blocks turned out really lovely.I especially love the ones you did in Batiks. In regards to what might be the problem with block # 2 in the neutrals is you might have not totally added the seam allowance to a couple of pieces in the block.Hope this helps.Have a creative day.Happy Quilting.Hugs Katie
