Introducing Bartholomew Bones. I shall call him Bartie.  I am beyond thrilled to have Bartie finished and ready to hang in time for Halloween THIS year. I love that his bones glow in the dark. Glowing fabric makes me smile everytime I see it at night. I have a swap block Halloween quilt (from another group) and a couple quilters used glow in the dark fabric. I love when the cooler weather hits and I can bring out my quilt.

I have been working regularly on my daughter's boot quilt. It's getting closer to being done! I'll try to get a picture tomorrow of my progress.
I've pretty much decided to not work on my number 7 this month and just concentrate on finishing this quilt and q working on the Autumn Evenings block of the week.
I am loving seeing everyone else's finishes!

Not too hard, since they're just lapquilts with 9 blocks each, and one only needed to be bound.  Ruthanne even had them labeled, so I just needed to attach the sashing and go from there.  Well, and applique some cover ups like she did.  She had a breezy way with quilts and there are a couple nekkid spots that needed covering, and some reversed seams i felt would be better covered too.  I'll have to take a picture of the last one, since the earlier ones are already handed over.

Oh, by the way, Jamie's t-shirt quilt is the 4th of Ruthanne's UFOs, and the largest and least complete.  I've quilted 2 of 5 sections now, but it's on the back burner until the 3rd of the strip quilts is done.

Robin,
I love Batholomew! I made two that hung over my DD's balcony. But I never thought about using glow in the dark fabric. So clever! I've used glow in the dark thread and puff paint. Those bones took forever to finish.

I finally got my quilting time back. Got 4 Halloween placemats done and starting quilting my cousin Pete's quilt that's on my UFO list. Should finish tonight and maybe get binding made to hand sew while the grands sleep.

The 3rd of Ruthanne's string quilts is done.

and I've worked a smidge on Jamie's tshirt quilt.  (That's the 4th of the ones Ruthanne started.) Still no month 5 for my BOM

Still quilting Pete's quilt, my daughter and hub left today so I have my grands all weekend so not much sewing will happen. Hoping to finish quilting tonight. Broke a needle last night and figured it was time to stop.

Teatime, love your triangles quilts! Mine are always wonky, but I love them.

I got to see QuiltingBeachy's finished red Christmas quilt top at the Illinois retreat. Beautiful.

Ok so between yesterday and today I completed 64 partially made log cabin blocks.  I think the last five I have to frog stitch the last strips, hope its just the last 5....I need to lay them out on the bed to figure out how much area they cover.

Woohoo finally a finish!  Pete's quilt is done, headed to be washed and then mailed out to him.  Will find another quilt to work on now.

I had to stop working on the boot quilt because my husband wanted me to make a lap quilt for a co-worker of his that is going through some hard times. But I will post a photo in my gallery of my progress. It's getting closer!
